JUYEON Dokyeom & Juyeon, Ellie, Vernon
4 of the Seventeen members had appeared on Hyell's Club, which was a drinking show. This was the first time the 4 were teamed up together for a variety show, and were grateful for the diversity in the group.
"So what are your roles?" Hyeri asked. "These two are the funny ones," Vernon said, pointing to Juyeon and Dokyeom, who threw up a peace sign in unison, making everyone laugh. "Wow, your timing is great!"
"They were practicing on the car ride here," Ellie quipped, making Hyeri chuckle as she placed a hand on the younger's arm.
"What about these two?" Hyeri asked, referring to Vernon and Ellie. "Speaking English?" Juyeon joked, eliciting laughter once more.
The group continued to engage in conversation, making small talk, till the cameras stopped filming to take a short break. "It seems one of our cameras has died, you all can take a break," Hyeri joked. "As soon as the camera cuts, they're all going to go straight faced and stopped talking to each other."
The group laughed, "Business mode: on," Dokyeom added.
The staff signalled that they could go use the bathroom if anyone needed to; Vernon stood up, taking his leave.
Hyeri had joined the staff to sort out some technical errors, leaving Juyeon, Dokyeom and Ellie at the table.
They sat in silence, till Juyeon mentioned she was feeling cold. "Oh here," DK said, handing her a blanket that was placed on the seat next to him. The shoot was taking place on a rooftop, and it was a relatively windy night. Juyeon smiled, thanking him as he placed it on her lap. For safe measure, he wrapped his arm around her frame, attempting to warm her up.
"You should drink some more. It'll warm you up on the inside," he suggested. Juyeon waved her hand, "I get all puffy if I drink too much, and I have a shoot tomorrow morning."
"Oh who cares, you'll look great anyway," he winked cartoonishly.
Ellie cringed, overhearing their conversation, since she was, well, sat right next to them.
Vernon had made his way back by this time, making Ellie scoot closer to him.
"Sorry it's taking so long," the staff apologised, which the members waved off, grateful for the pause.
"Look to the left," Ellie whispered to Vernon in English, motioning to the two who seemed to be lost in their own world. "Oh God. Why are we always caught in people's love stories?" Hansol joked.
