Dear Journal,

Pour me up a double shot of whiskey! It's been a wild one for sure and the Summer of 2024 has been a hot one. I got a chance to practice some more with Coach Jay and get really toned up over the summer. We had a few more encounters with each other and I'm pretty sure, if I were a girl, I would have been pregnant by now...LOL! We had sex so many times after practice and gym sessions. A couple of times we couldn't hold back after a gym session and I would get pounded in the parking lot behind the gym. He knew my ass stayed wet for him and my mouth was always eagerly waiting to swallow his cock. I ended up calling things off with Conner and told him we can still be friends, but that night he came over while my parents were in Puerto Rico was the last time we would do anything sexually. Conner and Melissa are still in a relationship and I don't have time to tango with two other people. Josh and I got back closer and started hanging out more and getting ready for our big move to California. He sometimes practices with Coach Jay and I and the other boys from the team. "Alex!" yelled Dad.

"Coming Dad." I said.

"Hey son, your mother and I are going to fly out with you and stay in California for a few days just to make sure you are settled into your dorm, have food stocked, figure out your class schedule, and also meet with your coaches." said Dad.

"Seriously?" I asked.

"Yes son, this was your mother's idea and I just so happen to agree with her on this one." Dad said.

"But Dad, I think I can handle it, it's not like I'm going off to kindergarten or this is my first day in high school." I said.

"I know, but this is different and navigating college is different from high school and you need to be prepared, especially since you are officially a D1 athlete." said Dad.

"Okay, well you don't have to stay long and Josh is going to be just a few miles over from me, he's flying out towards the end of the month." I said.

Dad doesn't know that Josh and I have already talked about getting an apartment together because staying with a total stranger is just creepy to me and Josh doesn't want to really room with anyone else but me. I'm sure we can't do that our first year, but we are definitely looking into it soon.

"Son, I know you're a very smart and fine young man, but this is college and every moment counts. I know you'll do good in your studies and excel as an athlete. Your mother and I are very proud of you. So we are going to make sure that we take care of your transition from Florida to California." Dad said.

"Dad, dad..I love you and thanks for everything you and mom do for me. I don't want you or mom to worry and know that I'm going to work hard at both school and track." I said.

I also wanted to take this moment and be transparent with my Dad and tell him about my sexuality but I just don't know if this is a great time to do it or not. When I think about it, I become so nervous and scared. I just don't know how he will accept me or what will he say, how will he look? So many thoughts run in my head, but I want to tell him soon.

"Oh I just remembered, I'm meeting one of my old colleagues from med school, we are talking about expanding the practice and adding another location in the city, I need to get going." Dad said.

"Wow Dad, that's awesome!" I said.

"We will talk about it later tonight for family dinner with everyone." Dad said.
