Chapter one

Ari's pov ~
Loud thunder sounded and shook some of the glasses sitting on the tables. I jumped making one of the glasses I had on my tray fall and shatter. Before I could do anything to pick up my mess I heard someone cursing under thier breathe behind me. And then I felt a big shoe on my back that shoved me down onto the carpet harshly.

The tray flew with the other glasses and shattered as well. " You are worthless! Now look at what you have made you useless piece of junk!" A male voice said.

My visor glitched for a moment as I stood up, fixing my hair and maid dress. I turned around to make sure I wouldn't get kicked down again and went to get a small brush to help me sweep up the glass shards.

I was looking out the windows at the storm as I made my way to the supply room. I was deep in thought, though, I couldn't decipher what I was thinking about. My 'thoughts' were interrupted when I bumped into something.

"Agh!" I yelled to myself as I fell. I heard something fall and I looked up. "Ouch" I heard the other drone say, I gasped "I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking-" I tried to help pick up a glass when the other drone reached for the same one. I looked up to see who it was when our fingers touched and-

BEEP BEEP!!!

"Ugh~" I slammed the alarm clock that was going off. What was that memory? Why was my system showing it to me? It doesn't surprise me that it wasn't a good memory either, when do I have a 'good' one anyway?

I sat up on my bed and looked into my mirror, I put my glasses on, fixed my hair a little bit and grabbed my school bag. Today is my first day at a new school, my mom took us out of the last one half way thru the year. I didn't care, I hated that school, hopefully I can make new friends?

I walked out of my room and right out the front door, I did NOT wanna walk with the rest of my siblings. Their constant bickering would bring lots of unwanted attention to me. I made my way to the new school and got my room number from the office.

I went to my room and the teacher didn't even notice me walk in, whatever I guess, I didn't wanna stand in-front of the whole class and say my name, etc. I walked to the back of the room looking for an open seat. There were a lot surprisingly, but they were all around this one purple drone. She was sitting alone, I sat in a seat next to her.

She looked over at me so I smiled. "Bite me!" She yelled. I looked away and put my bad under my desk. What did I do wrong? Was she saving these seats for her friends? Time passed and nobody else entered the room, why were all the desks around her empty? Were they js not here today?

I didn't listen to a word the teacher was saying, I was drawing in my book. Sometimes I would draw some dress designs, other times just random doodles. I heard an evil cackle and looked up at the front of the class.

It was the drone I was sitting next to, she was holding a gun?! I listened to her presentation and she worried me a little bit. The teacher then interrupted her "thanks for the presentation Uzi, but the assignment was about how to grow watermelon?" (I don't remember this scene word for word so deal with it)

"Ugh! Aren't you guys sick of sitting behind doors doing nothing all day?!" She yelled to the classroom. Nobody looked up or paid any attention to her. "UGH! BITE ME!" She shot the gun that made her fly backwards. I dunked to dodge the blast. WTH IS WRONG WITH HER??

I looked up and she was groaning on the floor, the gun was next to her and said it was recharging. I looked around but nobody was helping her up. "Go to the nurses office" was all the teacher said in a monotone voice. I got up and went over to help her but she slapped my hand away. What is her deal? "Bite me! I don't need any help!"

"Okay?" I said quietly. She stood up and threw her gun into my hands. "Here, carry this. And also, bite me!" She glared her eyes at me and I just stared. She turned around and I followed her, she put her hand to her head and groaned.

(Time skip bc you guys know what happened)

Uzi ran around the corner blushing holding her gun she snatched from me. "Do you like him?" I asked "WHAAA?? NO- I mean mabey? I SHOULDN'T HAVE TOLD YOU THAT! BITE ME!" "Don't worry Uzi! I promise I won't tell anyone! Even tho its obvious you like... Thad? Was that his name?" I told her, hopefully she won't ditch me. "Ugh, fine whatever."

I was following her, not sure where tho. "Um, where are we going?" She answered after a while of being silent "To my room I guess. Not like school teaches us anything useful anyway." "What is that gun? Did you make it?" I asked trying to break the awkward silence.

"You ask too many questions." Uzi said in an angry tone. "Oh. I'm sorry" I mumbled the 'I'm sorry' part.
"Also, yes. This is a RAIL gun and YES I made it." I smiled at her for replying and then came the awaiting "BITE ME!" Not wanting to anger her any further I was quiet.

We kept making our way down halls when we passed a poster that had a drone on it with the name "Khan Doorman" Uzi looked at it and scoffed at it. "What did he do?" "That's my dad." She mumbled. "Oh, is he apart of the WDF?" I asked "Yeah."
