Ari woke up leaning against the window of the bus, kids were bustling to get off and N was slumped onto her shoulder asleep. Ari sighed contently, he looked to peaceful, she didn't wanna wake him up to get off the bus. She felt guilty for running away that day, if she should have just stayed calm and everything would have been fine. She brought her hand up and ran it through his hair, it wasn't as soft as her's but it wasn't too bad. She ruffled his hair and nudged him with her shoulder. "Time to get up sleeping beauty." She cooed, his visor glitched on while he rubbed his eyes. "We're here?" Ari looked out the window and saw the door closing and the sunlight disappearing. "Yeah." She felt cold when his head left her shoulder. He stood up with a smile, like he wasn't just sleeping two seconds ago. "C'mon! Let's go." Ari smiled as she grabbed the hand he offered.

Her, N, and V were all sitting on the floor at the foot of Uzi's bed. With those stupid things on their heads. Ari reluctantly agreed to go back to the mansion in her memories. Her system was powered off when Uzi started her hacking. She was a computer freak. But she was so good at it, and she was proud that she was. This time when Ari woke up she was in a pile of discarded drones. She felt trapped and the lack of space she had to move was causing her to panic. She was trapped under a huge pile of junk drones. Her breathing quickened and she was kicking and screaming to be set free. She then remembered that this was only a memory and tried to calm down. She closed her eyes and tried to pretend she was somewhere else, that she wasn't stuck. She wiggled her arms up to her chest as a form of comfort. She leaned her head onto her hands, breathing in and out slowly to calm herself down.

Something about being in this pile of drones scared her. And it wasn't just that she couldn't move. She thought she heard her name being called from far away. She opened her eyes and waited for it to repeat. She heard it again, she heard N and Uzi calling for her. She frantically tried to push herself closer to the small source of light she saw. "IM IN HERE!! PLEASE GET ME OUT!" She was breathing heavy again and she was panicking from the lack of mobility. "Uzi!!" She heard N yell, running in her direction. "PLEASE GET ME OUT!" She was pleading desperately. She couldn't take being right here anymore. She saw Uzi as that crow again in the distant hole that the moonlight was shining through. Ari was in the middle of the pile. "Ugh, she is deep down there. And you don't have your murder drone weapons or tools." Uzi left the hole and spoke to N while Ari was falling apart.

"Please get me out! I can't take it!" She closed her eyes again but it wasn't helping. Freedom was so close yet so far and she was loosing it trapped under these lifeless bodies. She held her hands over ears while she shook her head and hummed to herself. Her eyes opened when she saw a bright purple light contorting the dead drones infront of her. A large opening of moonlight spilled into the darkness she was trapped in. She wasted no time clawing up and out of the opening Uzi created. She let out breath she had been holding once her feet touched the ground. She hugged herself and closed her eyes. That was horrible being trapped in there. She heard N holler her name and she opened her eyes. He was running to her and she took a step forward with her arms still hugging herself.

She was fighting tears from being trapped down there. It had overwhelmed her and she couldn't calm down this time. N collided into her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders. "It's okay Ari." Ari buried her head into his chest and he propped his chin on top of her head. Uzi landed on N's head and tried to console Ari as well. "Hey, it's alright, I saved ya... with my sick as hell solver abilities and hacking skills!" Ari closed her eyes and slowed her breathing. She would never be able to repay N for everything he has done for her. Nothing could amount to repay anything he did. Not even the fanciest of wealth could amount to what he has done for her. She had calmed down now. Feeling his arms around her was like a shield from anything she hated or feared. Like it could never touch her or harm here when he was there.

She took a deep breath in and stepped away from N and he let go. "Let's get this over with." She said while still hugging herself as she watched Uzi fly off N's head and towards the mansion. She followed Uzi, zoning out while watching the old cobblestone path. She heard N walk up next to her so she looked over at him. His eyes were hollowed out as he stared ahead. He was rubbing his arm as his eyes darted around some. He seemed scared too. Ari's brows furrowed as she let go of her arms to grab N's shoulder. When she rested her hand on his shoulder he turned his head. He still had a scared expression for a moment but Ari tried to give him a soft smile to calm him down. When he saw her trying to comfort him he smiled back. Then they made it into the doors of the mansion and rounded a few corners.

"We're here- oh-" Uzi exclaimed. Ari and N stared into the same room from before. Disassembly Drone wings were on the wall and V's drone was on top of the trap door. "Do I have to go through this again?" Uzi turned to Ari. "Well, I don't know but probably." Ari frowned and looked over to V again. She sighed "Fine." Uzi perched on N's head. "Now, we need to get the key and get down there. I wasn't able to figure anything out last time because my dad wasn't leaving us alone and it's probably not unlocked like the last time." They walked closer to V and her visor had an error symbol on it. N scooted her over again like last time and yanked the carpet away. N huffed. "Of course J has the key." Everyone's eyes widened when V started cackling. Her flashing visor revealed her toothy smile. Uzi laid and egg and it broke when it hit the floor. Ari froze just behind N and everyone was at a stand still.

"Come on J!" An Australian accent urged. J was gnawing on the chain that bound Tessa and J in the basement. J was cursing the chains after she spit the links out she broke and spat at the two broken pieces. Tessa gave her a thumbs up as she made her way out. They snuck around on the balcony and Tessa rounded a corner, she bumped into a full suit of armor holding a sword. And J found a gun on a wall and took it from its frame. They both turned to each other and said in sync "how about this?" They then tossed the weapons to each other, switching to the others found weapon. "Psst! Tessa!" A hushed voice called. Tessa saw N, with a bird on his head and that other maid drone that her parents threatened to throw out. He was ushering them to get down but Tessa and J turned to each other confused. That was until a pair of shattered glasses fell from the ceiling.

They both looked up in horror as the lightning illuminated V, clung to the ceiling. She was climbing around and as the lightning continued to illuminate her but then she suddenly disappeared. J, Tessa, N, and Ari put thier backs together as they looked for V in every direction. N turned to Tessa. "We need the basement Key. This birds from the future~." Uzi flew to J and took the key. She gave Ari the key as Tessa spoke in her Australian accent. "Cyn's gonna massacre the gala!" N chuckled and shook his head "huh? Our Cyn? Nah, she's cool." Right after he said that everyone was thrown in different directions when V landed in the middle of thier circle. Throwing Ari into the window she was facing. The window shattered from her Visor hitting it but it stayed intact. V went to attack Tessa but J protected her with a sword. Ari scrambled away from V and over to where N and Uzi landed. "Ugh! Go do your basement thing! We got the coma patient you creeped on!" J protested. N pointed his finger at J as they started to turn around. "Not creppy! Sweet!"

When Ari turned around she was face to face with V. She fell backwards as she yelped. The key went flying from her hand and V rushed over to it. As she was about to pick it up Tessa threw it back to Ari. She waved her hands around trying to catch it but it thumped her head and landed in N's hands. Tessa threw her sword at V but V propelled it at N, Uzi, and Ari. She shoved them out of the way and grabbed it mid air. She charged at V with it as they fought on the balcony. The attendees to the gala watched with annoyance. As J fought V on the balcony in the mansion, N, Ari, and Uzi made their way to the trap door, and away from the scene. Ari stayed close behind N, not letting go of his arm. N unlocked the trap door and Uzi flew in. N was going to follow Uzi so Ari let go and stood back. "I can't go back in there." N looked up at her through the trap door with a frown.

Not a frown because she wasn't going but a frown because he felt bad for how scared she was. He offered his hand out to maybe convince her to come but she held her hands to her chest and shook her head. He took his hand back and before he could descend the ladder he was pulled down into the room and the trap door slammed shut. Ari's eyes widened and she was about to rush to the door but she was pulled away. She felt a sharp pain before her visor blacked out. The last thing in her vision was the trapdoor, getting smaller and smaller as she was pulled away from it. Away from N. A light voice chuckled. "Eerie g-giggle. N-Not this time.. friend."

Shorter chapter again. But deal with it lol. Also, I realized I mixed up the timeline so reliving the mansion again!!! Yay!
