Chapter six

N's pov
Ari looked like she was hiding something from us when V suggested she had 'secrets' in her sketch book. She looked scared about something, she shouldn't have to be scared. She can trust me and Uzi! I just hope she trust us enough to tell us at some point.

V is also really rude sometimes and probably just scared her, whatever it is we will figure it out. Together. We climbed out of the pod to go wait for Thad to bring the gun and sketch book. I saw Ari walking in front of me and Uzi was farther ahead.

I caught up to her to tell her she can trust me and Uzi before Uzi could say that it was gross and 'bite me' "hey" i didn't wanna scare her so I waved a little bit and smiled " I'm not sure about what V was saying but you can trust me and Uzi." She smiled and looked back at the ground.

Ari's pov
We finally made it to the car and Thad was taking forever. Uzi was leaning against the passenger seat door with her arms crossed and N was sitting on the hood, I was leaning up against the back seat doors next to Uzi. I didn't wanna talk about what V said. It made me uncomfortable.

Uzi turned to me and she looked angry or annoyed I couldn't tell, it's Uzi. "What was V talking about Ari?" Her tone and facial expression didn't look friendly. I stopped leaning against the door and started backing up a little. She stomped in my direction, her arms at her side with her hands clenched into fists.

Why is she acting like this? What did I do? "I um..." she started yelling this time "WHAT ARE YOU HIDING ARI?! WE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT YOU!" She was right, I knew about her dad and her mom and I have been to her room and N has explained some stuff about his past with V and J.

Why was she coming after me? I stared at her horrified. I have never seen her this angry, not even with J when we attacked them. She started stomping towards me again and I backed up even more. N was now standing behind an angry as hell Uzi. He grabbed her shoulders to hold her back. "Uzi, just give her time. Calm down. We don't know everything about my past either."

She kept glaring at me "Fine! BITE ME!" She sat down on the ground with her arms crossed pouting. What is her deal? She is starting to scare me. N smiled at me and I smiled back. I went to the back of the car and sat on the closed trunk.

Uzi's pov
What was V talking about? Was Ari really hiding something? I don't know anything about her really. If she told me I forgot but she has been in my home and I don't even know where she lives. She could be a spy for Jc Jenson!

For all we know she is spying so that Jc Jenson can find a way to eliminate the colony! I don't trust her. Thinking to myself was making me angry. I wanted answers to all my questions right here right now. I was gonna get them.

N's pov
Uzi was being pretty erratic. Why was she so mad? Whatever she was doing it was scaring Ari. I had to stop her before she attacks her. There goes the 'you can trust me and Uzi' out the window. "Uzi, just give her time. Calm down. We don't know everything about my past either." I smiled at Ari hoping to calm her down.

She smiled back and went to sit further away from Uzi on the trunk. Uzi was now pouting on the ground. Muttering to herself. "Uzi?" She looked up at me angrily "What?" "I told Ari she could trust me and you and you kinda-" she cut me off "N. We know nothing about her. Does that not make you question why she is quiet all the time?"

What is she saying? "She is probably so quiet all the time because she is communicating with Jc Jenson. And I don't even know where she came from before the colony because I NEVER saw her around until she 'changed schools'." She air quoted, I looked over at Ari. She was looking at her feet or the snow. Why would she want to hurt us?

"Uzi, don't you think you're over reac-" "N, listen to me. She probably knows stuff that we don't. She could probably kill us. Just don't talk to her unless she is telling you about her past. Because she might be sending what you're telling her to Jenson." She had cut me off again.
