The police stormed in making sure they had the foster parents out of the house and away before Leah was allowed to get Alexa, once Leah walked in this is what happend,
I opened my eyes slowly to the sight of these bright blue teary eyes looking at me waiting for me to responds and all I managed to say was "don't leave me mum" and with that Alexa lost consciousness and was rushed to a hospital with Leah in the ambulance and Katie following behind in her car aswell as a police car to make sure Alexa was protected.
Alexa was taken into the back room to get her cuts stitched up while Leah and Katie sat in the waiting room Leah crying into Katie's lap until a doctor came out "Alexa Williamsons family?" Leah stood straight up and walked over "yes that's us im her mum" and the nurse replied"okay Miss Williamson if you could just follow me". The nurse lead them to a side room where Alexa was hooked onto multiple different machines however she looked peaceful sleeping and Leah and Katie stayed by her bed until she woke up.
"Mum?" Alexa spoke after coming out of her long sleep "yes baby mummy's here and I'm not going anywhere ever again" Leah said "mum I want to go home and sleep in my own bed and take a shower to wash the blood out of my hair" okay baby when the doctor comes I'll ask them when we can leave"
*skip a few hours*
The doctors come round and say that Alexa can go home but she needs to rest and ask for help when showering and getting changed due to her wounds and with that Katie,Leah and Alexa made their way home.
*at home*
Okay baby do you want me to help you have a bath and wash your hair? Leah asked, yes please mummy I just want to get clean and watch a movie and that's what they did for the rest of the night, they watched a movie on Leah's large sofa with a cosy blanket and some ice cream in the hope that Alexa would feel safe after this huge setback.
