You say tilting your head slightly in confusion as your personal maid politely informed you
"That's correct my lady, there will be a banquet in honour of the second princes birthday."
She said bowing respectfully before handing you the invitation envelope as you stared at it boredly before grabbing it, eh? A banquet?
You're not the biggest fan of those..especially considering how many times Penelope met her end there.
"Young Lord eckart and lady Penelope will also be attending so prepare quickly."
Your ears perk up and you immediately sit up straight, right! Penelope would also go and this is where that damned crown prince killed her! Never mind you're definitely attending
Although you would also go even if you didn't have acknowledge of that just cause you love spending time with Penelope, as you stand up you look at your maid and say calmly
"Can you go get something from my wardrobe for me? Make sure it's not too fancy."

The maids helped you take a bath and applied skin care for you, the maids already liked you (other than when you got mad at them when they looked at Penelope wrong)
But seriously when they were getting you ready they become literal fangirls! They probably enjoyed playing dress up with someone with your features

The maids brushed your hair and did your makeup while showing you all sorts of different dresses that weren't too fancy like you asked,
of course not before getting really surprised but they listened anyways, you could tell they were saddened about it but you really had no reason to stick out since your only mission there is to save Penelope anyways.
When the maids were done you were wearing a [y/c] dress with [y/c] coloured accessories (or if you want none at all) jeez finally it was done with, you wanted to see Penelope!
You left the room leaving all the maids with their disappointment of not being to doll you up as much as they wanted to, but honestly if they did you'd get far much attention than you want
When you went outside to where the carriage was you saw Derrick and the back of Penelope, they were silent so you excitedly ran to Penelope and hugged her from behind
(Depends if your shoes were runnable in or not)
She looked different from her usual, she usually dresses up more but eh you don't mind she still looks pretty! She looks surprised when you hugged her from behind which was also odd since you do it a lot of the time
"Sister! You look so pretty like always!"
Penelope heard your voice and immediately relaxed as she calmly looks at you and says
"Thank you, I also think you look beautiful today."
You smiled even more if it was even possible before finally letting go of her since it was time to get into the carriage
Derrick raises his hand out for both of you to grab to help you into the carriage but you realize Penelope doesn't notice and just goes into the carriage..
