Bailey

It was exactly 2am. On Thursday night, I figured out what I wanted to draw for my assignment. I was going to draw Cameron.

I thought about it being Alex but Cameron was not talking to me and that made me see him in a different light, call me crazy but I liked the fact that he didn't warm up to me so easily just because I was his mate.

I wanted him to genuinely like me, and if he could refuse the mate bond and stay away from me, I would make it even harder for him to do that.

I'm going to draw him.

To do that, I needed to be around him, and that was the hard part since all I did was eat, sleep, go to school, and then work.

Two days have passed, and Alex has been the one to carry me to work. He'd be in my room waiting when I was done with my classes, then he'd allow me to change.

We talked more. He seemed like he was a very caring guy beyond his rough exterior. He never made any sort of advance towards me, and I tried my best to respect that. Micah reminded me that it would take them some time to acknowledge the fact that I was their mate, too, and not just a random omega they picked up off the streets, which I was.

The shiny ring on Alex's finger was a clear indication that he had Cameron before me, and as such, he developed a bond that we didn't have right now.

Cameron never visited me, I didn't ask for him.

Snow wanted to see them, meet their wolves, mate, he wanted to be with them, and so did I. Though they hadn't rejected me and sort of accepted me, it felt as if I was still working my way up. Was that a bad thing?

I guess that'll take a little more time. Until then, I just have to find a way to be around Cameron. Who wouldn't love my natural charm?

Alex seemed to like it a lot.

"You zone out a lot."

"Mmm?" I turned towards Micah, who stood behind the cash register.

"You're always in your head. What're you thinking about?" He asked, and I sighed. My mouth opened, ready to confide in my friend, but he started to talk again. "Let me guess, Alex?"

I groaned, sluggishly dragging my feet over to where he was. "How'd you know?" I asked. It wasn't just Alex, but he was close enough, I should tell him that not only Alex but his mate as well was mine, but how does one say that?

I don't understand that.

"I just know, and you got those puppy eyes."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Your eyes get bigger when you think about something you like, and they get bigger when you see that tall asian alpha." He said. "He is married and mated Bai. Getting in the middle of a couple is not a good thing."

If only you knew.

"Yeah, you're probably right." I muttered. There was no way that I was going to tell him now. What would I even say?

Oh, you know that married and mated happy couple that saved us? Yes! They are my mates. I have two of them.

I'll just tell him tomorrow.

"Alex has been dropping you off everyday though, isn't that suspicious? He doesn't drop me off." Micah said, and I chuckled.

"He has no need for that. You live five minutes away from here. You can walk." I told him.

"Ohh, I get it, because you're closer to him he drives you? He likes you." He nodded.

"What? How did you come to that conclusion?" I laughed.
