Chapter 13

Two months later

As the weeks went on, Ray and Elizabeth tried to spend any free time they had with each other. When Raymond wasn't at work, or he wasn't decompressing in his mansion, he was doing something with Elizabeth. They would take strolls at the St.James Park, browse bookstores, have dinner dates three times a week, and there might have been a couple of makeout sessions in his car after the dinner dates.

No matter how much time they spent together, they would share kisses and make out in Ray's car or in Elizabeth's hotel room. They hadn't slept together yet, and when the four month mark rolled around, Elizabeth couldn't help but feel tense and even a bit disappointed. She has never waited over four months to have sex with any of her exes. Raymond is a handsome man and she wants to know him intimately. She has noticed his muscles and fit body. She wanted to grip his arms and just feel them with her fingers and not through his shirts. Her body craved him. Her mind keeps having thoughts of whether Raymond is dominant in bed or does he like his partner to straddle him during sex? Is he a gentle lover or could he be rough? Does he like to cuddle after sex or not? How does he caress during foreplay?

Elizabeth came up with a plan and she hoped it would be successful. She is going to wear an outfit which Raymond will completely take notice of. Her attraction for him is so strong and Elizabeth thought she's going to lose it if they don't have sex soon. She cannot be the only one who feels so much desire. He has to be feeling it too. She's going to voice her opinion and hopefully they will take the next step of their relationship.

This Friday night, they decided to stay in his mansion and have a home cooked dinner and watch a movie while they ate their dessert which consisted of a tiramusu cake. The dinner consisted of a meal Elizabeth enjoyed to eat when she lived in New York. She thought it would be a great idea if she prepared dinner this time for her and Raymond. She managed to find all of the ingredients in a small local grocery store. The dinner with the Wagyu steaks was amazing and she wanted to return the gesture. She brought all of the ingredients and prepared the meal in his kitchen. The meal Elizabeth prepared for them is a Manhattan clam chowder. It is usually prepared with a tomato sauce base as opposed to cream, brothy Manhattan clam chowder dates from the 1800s and the Italian and Portuguese immigrant communities of Rhode Island. It is a popular soup in almost every city in New York. Ray did offer to help with the preparation, but Elizabeth told him that this time he can relax and not do anything. Raymond had no objections. He stood beside the kitchen island and sipped his wine. This time they ate in the dining room which was basically a long table in the next room after the kitchen. Raymond ended up liking the Manhattan clam chowder.
