~Alice pov~ As I lay on the cold, hard floor, the rough texture of the surface beneath me serving as a stark reminder of my bare surroundings. The room, devoid of any adornments or comforts, seemed to echo with the emptiness of its walls. The absence of windows meant that I was disconnected from the outside world, left to rely solely on my internal sense of time, which seemed to elude me i the darkness.
The anticipation of the impending sunrise filled me with a sense of longing and excitement, the prospect of witnessing the birth of a new day stirring a deep-seated emotion within me. Despite the discomfort of my makeshift bed, I found solace in the simplicity of my surroundings, the lack of distractions allowing me to fully immerse myself in the moment.
As the hours ticked by, each minute stretching into an eternity, I found myself lost in a state of suspended animation, caught between wakefulness and dreams. The stillness of the room was broken only by the sound of my own breath, a rhythmic reminder of my solitary existence in this barren space.
And then, as if on cue, the door swung open, flooding the room with a sliver of light that pierced the darkness. A figure emerged, their presence casting a shadow that danced across the walls. With a sense of unease, I watched as the stranger approached, their movements deliberate and calculated.
Standing over me, the man's gaze bore into mine, assessing my state with a mixture of curiosity and suspicion. Unsatisfied with what he saw, he reached for a syringe, the glint of metal catching the dim light. In one swift motion, the needle pierced my skin, injecting a foreign substance that sent ripples of dizziness through my body.
As the drug took hold, a wave of lethargy washed over me, dragging me into a hazy state of half-consciousness. The boundaries between reality and illusion blurred, the room spinning around me as I succumbed to the seductive embrace of sleep -Fudge kung mina malas ka nga naman oo- Alice have in mind before anything went black
