<=Previous scene=>

The story follows Alice, a woman who has lived under a cloud of suspicion for five years, trying to prove her innocence against persistent accusations that have painted her as a monster. As she prepares to face another committee hearing, she feels both anxiety and a newfound determination to confront her accusers with the truth.

In parallel, Risa, Alice's adoptive mother, struggles with guilt after forwarding damaging evidence against Alice to the committee. Motivated by a desire to protect her granddaughter, Cia, Risa finds herself caught in a web of secrets that threatens to destroy the bond she has with Alice. Despite her love for Alice, Risa's actions could irrevocably alter their relationship.

At the committee meeting, the atmosphere is charged with tension as the evidence against Alice is displayed, shocking everyone present. Risa's heart aches as she witnesses the unfolding drama, torn between her responsibility and her emotional connection to Alice. As the evidence mounts, Alice is declared guilty, leaving Risa filled with conflicting emotions of sadness, anger, and guilt over her role in Alice's downfall.

Amidst the chaos, Cia, who is unaware of the gravity of the situation, seeks comfort from Alice. Risa tries to explain to Cia that Alice is her biological mother, revealing a truth that brings confusion and pain to the young girl. As Alice is taken away by the police, she feels a profound sense of betrayal from those she trusted, particularly Risa and Donya, who have contributed to her suffering.

<=The end=>

As Cia grows up, her curiosity is building up, there's lots of questions she has in mind.

"It's been 10 years since I learned that my mother is my so-called Tita Alice," Cia murmured.

"Ikr? Time flies by, imagine you're just 5 at that time, oh I miss those old days," Risa responded.

"Mamita, that's not the point, My 'mother' never told me at that time what was the reason why she gave me up for adoption," Therece said while she's doing the quotation hand thing.

"Are you mad at her?" Risa asks Krish while her brow farrow.

"I don't know mamita, maybe tampo?" Krish answered.

"Hmm, wanna see your mom?" Risa ask.

"I don't know mamita, I feel like I don't wanna see her right now," Krish said.

"Krish, baby girl, she's your mother after all," Risa said.

"Alr, fine I kinda miss her, anyways."

Time skip they went to Alice's cell>>>

Alice Pov:

"Ms. Guo, you have a visitor"

I immediately follow the police officer. And I was shocked to see Risa standing there with a teenage girl, I'm assuming that's my daughter.

"Ris... I mean Mrs. Hontiveros it's pleasant to see you visit me here," I said with a firm look.

"Oh I came here 'cause I wanted Cia to see her mom, once again," she utters.

I look at my daughter and smile "you've grown so much my little girl," I whispered into my mind.

She didn't smile back and take her seat.

"What's wrong?"

"I came here 'cause I wanted some answer, Tita Alice."

Hearing the word "Tita Alice" pierced my heart, that means she still doesn't accept me as her mother.

"What is it, Dear?"

"I just wanna know why'd you give me up for adoption, don't you love me?" Tears building up in her eyes while uttering those words.

"N..no, I love you, the truth is I thought you were dead." I said, "they told me that you didn't make it, but I didn't believe them but, years passed I started losing hope not until I learn that you were my daughter the day I was sent to jail, I never got a chance to explain that to you that day because I was taken away by the police," I added.

"How come? That's so impossible, You're laying Tita Alice, that's not true! I hate you!" She let out those words, "I don't even know why I have loved you before, while I have no idea that you gave me away, you told me your daughter passed away but she doesn't, it was me," she said angrily "You know what? Just go back to where you believe I was dead," She added and stormed off.

Risa follows her, leaving me heartbroken from the words she said to me. People cost me too much pain, and now my daughter? Why is this happening to me? All I wanted is to feel the love I longed for.

Risa's pov:

I left Alice without a word, I mean Krish has a point, maybe Alice was lying, she lied to the public after all.

"Hey Cia, hon wait up!"

"Mamita, why is she still lying?" She said sobbing.

"I don't know Cia, maybe she knows that you won't forgive her if you knew the truth," Risa added

"Does she really think I'm that bad person? Suit her self, now I'll fulfill that, I would not forgive her" She said while her tears streaming down her tears.

I just hugged her and escorted her to the car and went home.

I have no idea why I just said that lalo ko lang pinalayo ang loob ng apo ko sa kaniyang ina but, that betrayal is still in my heart so I guess she deserves what she's in right now.

Minutes had passed and they arrived at home.

"Krish, Dear I'm sorry I shouldn't have forced you to go and see your mother."

"It's ok Mamita, I know you just want me to gain our closeness," she uttered "I'll go to my room now" she added and smiled.

"Good night, sweet heart" I reply

"Good night, Mamita"

We gave each other good night kisses and went to our respective rooms.

I couldn't sleep that night, it felt like I did something wrong, again. I love Alice as my daughter, our bond grew strong and I never thought just a snap of a finger could ruin everything. The moment I found out she was the real mother of my adopted Granddaughter, I was over the moon but, that's the moment the truth comes out, she was proven guilty, she's a liar, a fuggative, the country's spy.

—Alice's thought—
After what happened earlier, I don't think I can live like this anymore. Everyone took everything away from me. They took my freedom, now my daughter? How could this world be so mean?

After everything that happened into Alice's life, it all flashed back, and that's the start of her downfall. Her life became meaningless, it became black and white. She got depressed and learned to self-isolate, avoiding everyone, losing her trust in everything, and worse of all, she lost herself. Alice always hurts herself, always trying to take away her own life.

Alice started hearing those whispers again, all those rumours that were throwing at her, all those betrayal, all those hurtful words, especially what her daughter had just said, her traumas is flashing into her mind. She couldn't take it anymore so she hurt her self again, she grabbed anything sharp she could find and started slicing her wrist her arm and even her legs and tights.
