"Ano ba'ng nangyayari sa 'yo?! Bigla kang nawala; we were so worried!" sigaw ni Gael. Inuwi nila ako sa bahay ko dahil tuliro ako nang makaahon.
"Nyx, I know you're grieving. I don't understand your pain, but is it really too hard to ask us to help? Kaibigan din naman namin si Saint! At alam naming magagalit siya sa amin kapag may nangyari sa 'yo! We lost a friend, Nyx. Please, stay with us."
Wala akong maintindihan sa mga pagmamakaawa nila. Hindi ko na rin maintindihan ang sarili ko. Wala akong maintindihan sa nangyayari.
"Buhay si Saint," I whispered.
"Nyx, tama na! He's dead!" Yesha yelled as she slapped me.
Gael pulled her away. "Tama na! Walang mangyayari kapag nagsakitan kayo! Nyx, magpahinga ka na sa kuwarto mo. I already talked to a friend of mine who knows a therapist."
"Therapist?"
"Yes, your coping mechanism isn't healthy. You have to move forward."
Umiling ako. "But I don't want to. Ayaw kong kalimutan si Saint. I promised him that I would remember!"
"Moving forward doesn't mean that you will forget Saint. It just means that you have to learn how to accept it."
"What good can come from accepting his demise?"
"Well, you will live a better life without pain, without blaming yourself for what happened."
"Life couldn't be better without him."
Gael hugged me. "I know. Life is hard, Nyx. We're here for you."
