Chapter 9:
A day has passed, it was now Wednesday. Any minute Ashley should be coming through my door. I started to get ready for the funeral, I curled my hair, Put makeup on and put on my mothers beautiful white pearl earrings. I found a beautiful black dress in the back of my mothers closet that fit nicely, it flowed to my knees and i wore a beautiful pair of black heels. BANG BANG was the sound on the door, Excitedly I ran down the stairs and i ran into Riley, how awkward. I answered the door, there was the beautiful girl I've known for 4 years stood in my door way, my bestest friend, Ashley Smith. I ran into her arms and hugged her really tight. I showed her around my house and took her stuff into the guest bedroom. I introduced her to Riley, she wasn't very friendly to him, but we all laughed at it. "Hey girls, ready to go?" Riley asked "Yeah," we said and went off into the truck. We arrived at the church when lots of people greeted me and hugged me, lots of people handed me cards for me and my brother. Riley came to me and gave me a hug "Sorry," was all he could say and i seen a tear running down his face. He sat down and the funeral began. I cried, more then I ever had, when the caskets were getting buried. We ate in the church basement and everyone went home. we arrived back to my house and chilled out with Riley and Ashley in the hot tub and talked joked around, I felt better when I was having fun. I wanted to rest so I went to bed early, 9:00pm. I woke up 6:30am and got ready, I did my makeup (I don't usually do it for school, but I had the extra time, so why not?) I curled my hair, I actually looked like a girly girl now. It was almost time to go, I left my room and there was him. Riley. His mouth opened with a gasp "What?" I questioned him "You look amazing." he smiled "thanks" i said "Still mad at me" he asked with big eyes "No.." I said quietly and he gave me a huge hug.. "Trust me today, I will be different, I promise you." He said. I didn't believe him but I nodded, before we left I told Ashley that I had to go to school, so she had the house to herself, We then left for school.
