Chapter 11:
Morning came, it was a hot day, which is usual in California. The waves were calm on the beach. I woke up before anyone and I decided to put on eggs, bacon, and toast for breakfast. I put on extras for Justin because I knew he would be home soon. Riley and Ashley woke up about the same time and we sat out on the beach house deck watching the waves while eating out breakfast. BEEP BEEP was the sound of Justin's car horn! out came Justin and a guy, I guess it was a friend of his, "omg, I didn't know you were bringing company! I made you some breakfast, but I don't think there's enough for two of you!" I said. "Oh it's fine. We just ate" Justin said smiling at me . "I have something to say.." Justin said nervously " I-I'm.... I'm gay.." Justin paused and let a little smile "This is Alex, My boyfriend. I met him while I was away." Wow... I thought to myself, I wouldn't ever be able to tell my own brother was gay! He never acted like it, to everyone he was one of the guys. I smiled at him so did everyone else I hugged Justin and shook hands with Alex. "Nice to meet you all," Alex said with a shy smile. Him and my brother kissed lightly. "I have-" I paused "I mean, We have, An announcement," me and Riley held hands " Me and Riley are together" We looked at each other and smiled. My brother just smiled "Congrats," Justin said.
We spent out summer like this, we had fun.. Now the summer is over and we have to go back to school, Except my brother he graduated. I'm looking forward to what this year will bring to me. I take Ashley to the airport and say our good-byes, but we promised we would see each other again next summer.
