Stu always thought he had feelings for girls. Well, he wanted to have feelings for girls. I mean, if he liked guys, that would make him a f@g. So honestly, it wasn't really an option considering what to Tommas Sean, one of his openly gay classmates. He got tormented over and over, called slurs, and anyone who stood up for him were automatically grouped along with him. Sometimes, Stu felt bad, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
But wanting things doesn't always get you what you want, and this was a prime example of that.
The bell had just rung, and Stu was sure as hell ready to get out. Billy wasn't in class that day because he was sick, which meant he had to deal with Sid and Tatum's bitching, hopefully, Randy would be there but with randy it was always hit or miss, so he might be there or not.
And today was a miss.
Fuck.
'Of course, he would just have to be gone today.' Stu complained in his mind, his luck fucked him over completely. No Randy and no Billy.
Just as he was about to ditch lunch so he wouldn't have to deal with those motherfucking bitc- "Stu! I was afraid you wouldn't be at lunch, Billys already sick, I wouldn't want you to be," Sidney rambled worriedly, running over towards him. Tatum speed walked behind her, trying to catch up. Stu immediately frowned but made it look more out of pity than annoyance, so they wouldn't ask too many questions.
"Billy called," Tatum said as Sidney kept talking, that caught his attention "Wait, he did? Really?" He said surprised. "Yeah, he told me to tell Sidney to tell YOU to come over after school and that it wasn't an option." At this point, Sidney
Looked at Tatum, "Why didn't you tell me then?" She asked a bit hurt, Stu cut in. "Well, I hate to say it, sid, but you didn't really let her get to you," he joked, smiling. They all laughed, and as the day went on, Stu felt himself feeling jealous.Billy didn't call him. He called Tatum. Before him.
"That bitch," he muttered under his breath in class. Once the school day came to an end he headed over to billy in his car. He knocked on the door, "BILLY!" He yelled, the door slammed open."Well damn." He muttered as he saw billys face."What was that?" Billy said, "Nothing." Stu said quickly. They walked into the house.
"That's what I thought," Billy said, looking back at Stu, giving him a glare. Stu mentally recoiled.
They walked to Billy's room and entered, billy closing the door. They sat on the bed, stu laying on the bed staring at the ceiling. "So." Stu started. "'So' what?" Billy threw back. "So why did you ask me to be here?" He answered, looking at the ceiling still.
~Billy looked at stu, "Well, it's gonna be pretty hot tomorrow, so I thought maybe the group could go down to the lake," he explained. "And that lake is?" Stu drew on, "I decided we should go down to that lake by that one fishing shop by your house since its pretty cold down there," he answered quickly, pointing in the direction he was talking about as though they were right by it. Stu nodded. There was an awkward silence.
"Why didn't you just tell Tate that while on the phone?" Stu asked, breaking the silence. "Because if you weren't going, then it wouldn't be worth my time!" Billy answered as if it was obvious, Stu looked at him for a second in the corner of his eye, feeling a blush on his face for a second. "So, are you going?" He asked, "Sure," Stu replied.

The next day was the day, but since it was Friday, they still had school the entire day. The words Billy said had echoed through Stus mind.
"Because if you weren't going, then it wouldn't be worth my time,"
