17 part 1

"Hey Jane! You okay?"
I was trying to wake her up, but she clearly had different idea.
She was rolled like a burrito in the blanket.

Yesterday she woke up quite early then me so today was a suprise as she told me before that she doesn't need an alarm clock to wake up. She can wake up exact at 5am even when she slept late.
Something, she said was set in her maneuver from the childhood.

I tried to remove the blanket from her face.
Her face was covered in sweat and she definitely wasn't looking okay.
I touched her forehead.
And i was correct.
She wasn't okai because she had a fever.

"Hey Jane."
"You are having a fever, should I call the teacher."
I asked gently as I wispered trying to not annoy her.

She opened her eyes slowly and started feeling my hand.
I could clearly see that she wanted me to hold her face so I touched her cheeks gently.

"It's nice. Your hands are nice."
She said slowly, closing her eyes.

It was great that she closed her eyes because if she would have seen me then i probably must have got teased for the rest of my life.

Anyways coming back to the reality, I quickly informed the teacher and she checked her temprature and gave her medicines, and declared that she was unfit to go for the activity today that was trecking.

"I wanna go too!"

Jane started causing a riot when she found she couldn't go with me.

"No! You are staying inside the room until you become well."

I said tucking her in.

"But!"

"No buts. Try to get better and we will go to the picnic tomorrow."
I said strictly.

She pulled over the blanket showing her anger.

'She is cute when she is ang- arghh charvii!'

I thought clutching my hair.

"Control control.."
I said closing my eyes doing the nana pathekar meme. (Yass I am sassy like that. Tehe)

'I have gone crazy..'
Light chukle came from my mouth that made Jane question

"Why are u laughing? Hmph!"
She said giving me an attitude.

Nothing nothing.
I said smiling, tieing my shoelaces.

I opened the door and loudly said in the room,

"See you later, my love~"
Teasingly I exited the room while i could hear her angry groans.

One hour later...

....

"Huff!"
"Huff!"
"Arghhhh fuckkk!!!"
I yelled to the unending mountain infront of me.
That we are supposed to treck.

"Hahahaha"
I heard avni chuckling.

"It's not..Huff Huff.."
I said wailing from out of breath.

"It's not?"
Avni asked, standing straight infront of me mockingly.
While I was bend like an old granny

Curse her track and field.

"That's why I am always telling you that try track and field. You will not regret it
It will help u with your health and boast you stamina. But no you don't wanna listen to me. Cuz you are a stubborn little bitch."

She rambled so effortlessly while I was trying to grab oxygen as if I am in the outer space.

"I would have def tried it, if only I wasn't studying 10hrs a day."
"Now that we have come to this, what was your last test results?"

...

Quiteness reigned between us, as she started marching with an accelerated speed.

I smiled slyly.

'Well atleast There is somethings to leash her with.'

Now when it was quite, i tired to find joy in my misery by looking at the trail track and the trees around me.
They were all covered with white pearly snow.
I never saw snow before so this was just beyond a wow moment for me.
I was captivated with the ethereal scenery infront of me that i only saw in pictures before.

The tall pine trees had white snow hanging on its branches.
It looked just like the small tree i decorates every Christmas in the living room with white cotton.

The only difference..

I touched the cotton briefly.

..it was wet?

'Ofcourse duh!'

I scoffed.
Didn't knew I was this stupid.
Where was 10hrs of studies going, I also don't know.

I turned around to tell avni and others about my stupidity.

....

there was noone behind me.
But just silence..

And howling of some wolves? Dogs?

'Ohnoo....I am fucked.'
