18 part 1

"Avni, you are gonna kill me from suffocation!"
I yelled on the avni who was sobbing and literally laying over me.
Out of nowhere where she started hitting me.

"You bitch!" Hick*
Hick* "I am s-sorry sniff* I shouldn't have left you alone!"

Avni was crying badly and i can understand her reaction she must be very scared.
I got scolded a lot by the teachers and they were about to call my parents. Thankfully I reached on time.

the moment I saw my friends i completely forgot about niell, untill I realised he was already gone.

"Umm avni u can be angry later but shouldnt you meet jane first?"
Aditi said standing around me with the rest of my friends.

"Ohh right!! She must be very worried!"
I stood up.
But then felt an errie tension in the atmosphere.

"What happened guys?"

No one was willing to say anything when Anushka pulled herself up from her mobile phone and blabbered

"When Jane came to know yhat you went missing she made an havoc in attempt to go after you. PE teacher tried to stop her but she pushed him and he got hurt. She is in her room and is forbidden to come out. I think she will be exple-"

Everyone glared at Anushka and ridhi nugged her with her elbow.

"What?"
she just shrugged and went back to her mobile phone.

I couldn't believe it.
But saying that I didn't also expected it, would be a lie.

I started running toward the elevator.
Avni was calling me from behind but right now nothing really mattered.
I wanted to see Jane.
I just want to see her right now.

It felt like eternity inside that elevator.
Reaching Eirgth floor felt like hundredth.

My heart beat was racing. I felt something unsettling.

Pain.
That probably wasn't even mine.

I don't know.
Neither do i care.
Just want to see her.
I just...want to touch her.
Hold her in my arms.
I want to tell her that everything is fine.
That I will never leave her side.
I will never.....leave her alone,
Ever again.

The elevator door opened and i sprinted toward our room.
I could see a teacher standing there probably gaurding her from coming out.

She asked me questions I wasn't interested in asking.
My mind was foggy.
Everything felt like a dream, a foggy scenario. Everything was unnecessary.
Everything...except her.

She put the keys inside the key hole and opened the door.

As the lock was making a squeacky sound before opening I felt like my breath was settling on the bottom of my lungs reluctant to come out.
Hindering me from breathing.

The door opened slowly and I saw her.
Sitting on the floor, trails of water marked on her cheeks. Eyes welled up like an ocean and opened wide as an owl as she me.

I stepped toward her, tears rolling from my eyes on its own after seeing her condition.
But she sprinted, hugging me, embracing me, engulfing me, inside her.

Our bodies fixed, my arms around her neck and hers snaked around my waist.

She sprinted so fast toward me that half of my body was flying in the air.

When I touched her soft skin, her warm flesh and smelled her enchanting smell, I felt right at place.
I felt home.
I was at home.

"Shushh..I am right here. Everythings alright.
I am alright."
She was ugly sobbing and i was Patting on her back, trying to console her.

There was a sea of emotions going inside of me.
So many questions that were ramping around me, killing me.

I thought the answer wasnt there.
But...

She undo the hug but her hands were still around my waist.

Her black eyes met mine.
And I got the answer.

'i love....Jane.'
