— she was running around like a mad-man trying to make herself look presentable, lining her lips carefully and pulling on a basic pair of sweat pants and a white cropped t-shirt, to make it look like she wasn't trying too hard, but she still tried.
She heard the bell go, she took a deep breath before looking in the mirror one last time before walking to her apartment door "hey, long time no see" she said as she moved out the way to let the boy in.
As her dog ran and jumped on the boy she laughed "he likes you" she chuckled again as he followed the boy into the the living room.
"Make yourself at home" she said as he sat down on the sofa "don't mind the mess" she mumbled as he sat up "so what are we making?" He asked noticing the girl bringing the chocolate chips, and the rest of the ingredients for the cookies.
"Cookies, I feel like eating cookies tonight" she said as he walked up beside her behind the kitchen island "I've been told I make the best cookies" she told the boy "we'll see about that" he said, now the height difference was definitely noticeable as he looked down at her.
The two had set off pouring the flower and mixing the eggs together and mixing the ingredients together that formed a dough - she then poured the chocolate chips into the bowl.
"It smells so good" she inhaled dramatically as she scooped chunks out of the mixture and placing it on a baking tray, then placing it in the oven to cook "20 minutes" she set the timer.
"So what do you wanna do now, Charlie?" She asked leaning against the kitchen island "we could watch a movie?" He said making the girl raise her brows "what movie" she said taking his hand and pulling him over to the couch, her dog immediately jumping on after them and laying down beside Charlie.
"10 things I hate about you?" He asked leaning back on the couch putting an arm over the back of the sofa barely touching her shoulders "that is literally my favourite movie!" She jumped as the movie turned on.
