NEW YEAR'S DAY!

— the last few weeks had been a dream to say the least - the excitement building up for outer banks, finally been able to feel relaxed in a relationship without feeling judged or not keeping any secrets from each other.

And Charlie pretty much lived in Evelyn's apartment, and she was debating whether or not to ask him to move in, I mean pickle loved him, and so did biscuit and he basically had all of his stuff at her place so it wouldn't be that bad of an idea.

Charlie, on the other hand was deep asleep sprawled out on her bed, reaching over trying to pull Eve into his side but finding her space empty and cold like she had been gone for a while, he opened his eyes to find her gone.

He groaned getting up from the bed walking into the living room spotting her behind the kitchen counter "it's 8, am, Eve" he said tiredly "come back to bed" he ran a hand through his hair

"I've got a meeting today Charlie, I can't" she said spooning the cereal into her "five more minutes?" He pouted "I'm sorry I can't" he frowned "as much as I want too I can't I'll get in so much trouble if I miss this meeting"

"I'll be back in a couple hours" she said putting the bowl into the sink, "and then I'll come back to bed" she finished before looking into the mirror fixing her basic crop top and sweatpants that she had chosen to wear.

"Doesn't seem like an important meeting" he said coming up behind her in the mirror wrapping his arms around her middle.

"Well it is" she said melting into the boy leaning her head back onto his shoulder, his face moving so he could kiss her cheek "can you feed the pets, I have to go" she said before looking at her watch "yeah like right now" she rushed kissing him quick before slamming the door shirt behind him.
