— she hadn't left her bed the past couple of days, Drew had completely tired her out and she just wanted peace, she was getting ready to take her dog out for a walk when she she heard a knock on the door.
She quickly walked over to the door opening it, noticing a tall figure lingering over her, she looked up taking note of the flowers and chocolate in the anonymous hands, finally she landed on his face, Charlie was at her front door with flowers, and chocolate's in his hands.
"Hi" he breathed out as she finally looked up "what are you..uh doing here" she straightened her back as she connected eyes with him "I haven't spoken to you in days" he shrugged "so i thought.." he was cut off "so you thought to come here, and buy me gifts?" She raised her brows and he hesitantly nodded "that's the nicest thing someone's ever done for me!" She smiled taking the gifts out of his hands
"So you're not mad?" He walked into the house, following behind her "no! Why would I be mad" she shook her head as she placed the flowers on her kitchen counter beside the chocolates.
"I was..uh just about to take pickle out on a walk.. if you'd like to come?" She asked fidgeting with her hands "uh..yeah! Sure" he agreed opening the door for her as pickle led the way.
"So why haven't we talked since new years?" She asked as the cool air hit her face "I don't know, I was too scared to ask if you wanted to go on like an official date, so I just left it, and then you never texted me, so I thought that I done something wrong" he shrugged as he took the leash out of her hands
As she placed a hand to her chest "same! My friends were telling me to text you and make a move but I was so nervous you'd be like no" she shrugged as he shook his head laughing "I don't think I could ever say no to you" he said putting his arm around her
