History of Kindorion

Kindorion is a land that has been plagued by division for centuries, with deep-rooted conflicts and tensions shaping its history. The region's complex geopolitical landscape has been marked by territorial disputes, religious differences, and ethnic rivalries that have fuelled ongoing conflicts and animosities among its inhabitants.

The division of Kindorion can be traced back to thousands of years ago, when a powerful family became divided when two siblings were pitted against one another. For their entire lives they fought against each other. They fought for land and for change and it was their bitter feud led to the splitting of Kindorion into two separate kingdoms - Aengrilor and Cadeltra which were named after the two siblings. These kingdoms have been at odds ever since, each claiming superiority over the other.

Aengrilor was a noble man. An academic who had become obsessed with other lands and other cultures. After travelling for a long while, when he returned home Aengrilor became frustrated by the lack of diversity and the lack of knowledge his people had of other lands. He sought to bridge the gap between Kindorion and the outside world, advocating for knowledge exchange and cultural integration. For his entire life, Aen studied the possibility of using symbols as wards and other protective charms. He created most of the Runes that are now used in modern day. His magic however was rooted in the subtle art of aura magic - allowing him to sense, control and manipulate other people's thoughts and emotions. His creation of powerful protective charms and runes was seen as a way to safeguard his people not just physically, but also spiritually and intellectually. His beliefs expanded to the minds of his subjects and with his magic he was able to foster harmony, and empathy and taught his people that knowledge and understanding should come above all else. Aen very quickly became a beacon of enlightenment, hope and progression. He became the image of the future amongst his people.

Cadeltra, however was a born to be warrior, and his magic complimented his role as a leader of his people. Rooted in blood and sacrificial magic he became known as one of the most ruthless fighters to ever have walked this world. Cadeltra was proud of the purity and nobility his clan possessed and he believed than Aen sought to ruin that, believing that Aen's fascination with other cultures would only weaken their own traditions. Cad's leadership style was marked by aggression and dominance, instilling fear and respect among his followers through his ruthless tactics on the battlefield. Though his respect was born of fear and terror among his people as opposed to genuine admiration. He ruled with an iron fist. His powers were as dark and formidable as his personality. Cadeltra was known on the eve on battle to march through the ranks of his men. His dark magic becoming an physical entity around him, not only imbuing his men with fear but also with confidence that Cadeltra would see them through whatever horrors they were to face. Cadeltra's followers were as fierce as their leader believing him to be a God like being whom they all worshipped.

Over the years, the conflict between them grew and the people of Kindorion found themselves torn between the two brothers. After fifty years of internal conflict, and in fighting, the once noble tribe was split in two; into The Land of Cadeltra and The Island of Aengrilor. The two descendants of the brothers now rule each of these realms. Tahi and his twin sister Kahliani rule the Island together while their Uncle Einar rules the Land with his son Ari by his side
