The beautiful, yet terrifying, Valyria - born wife of Aemond Targaryen, son of King Viserys Targaryen and Queen Alicent Hightower, Daelora Belaerys. Daelora is the only daughter of Monterys and Vaena Belaerys, the self-proclaimed lord and lady of Valyria. Even though, after the distruction of the once great empire, all the dragonlords passed or were murdered along with their power, the dragons, the Belaerys' were the only ones able to survive the disaster and became the only settlers of the destroyed and dangerous land. Having been on their holiday island off shores of Valyria, when the disaster happened, they did not have much left, other than their holiday home, 9 family members, some gold and 9 dragons (each one belonging to family members). Generation after generation they married brother to sister, aunt to nephew, uncle to niece, in order "to keep their bloodline pure", to hold on to what was left of their home. Fast - forward to the generation of Daelora, a girl possesing the purest valyrian features and a woman, who practiced Valyrian magic. She was a rider of not one but two dragons, Aegarax and Gaelithox, named after the gods of Old Valyria, and Fourteen Flames, Aegarax was the only surviving dragon from the days of Old Valyria that belonged to the Belaerys family, he was large in size, old but not slow or tired. Gaelithox was a smaller and younger (born in 3 BC) dragon, he was a free - spirited dragon, going off the shores for hunting and flying off for joy - flights. Daelora had three older brothers named Aegor (the eldest), Maerax (the second - born) and the youngest and the most fondest of Daelora, Daemion. Daemion and Daelora were the closest in age Daelora being a year younger than her beloved brother. Both sharing an interest in their heritage, magic and dragons, they spend a lot of time with each other. Although, one grim day, Daenora and her brother Daemion were introduced to their parents' idea of expanding their familes horizon and leaving the home island. Such decision, on the other hand, came with a cost - MARRIAGE.
