The door led to poorly lit corridors, despite the interest, you chose not to go further, instead opting to go to bed since tommorow marked the beggining of wedding preperations.

At dawn, you heard a knock, having no choice or time to decide whether to open the door or go back to sleep, the door slighty opened, it was your uncle, the Queen and a maester. "We've come for a check-up." the Queen announced. "A check-up?" you had thought. It was a check-up to determine whether you were a maiden. You looked at Jaekar, with the expectation that he might say something. The maester pulled you by your ankles and lifted up your night clothes, you knew not make a scene and defend yourselves against such a nonsense act, otherwise it would've raised question to the Queen. After the check up the maester announced that in fact you were a maiden and 'fit for marriage to the Prince'.

With such a disgusting start to the day, you had dressed in one of the only gowns that were fit for Westeros. And made your way to the meeting with a royal ateliere for your wedding dress and some dresses to wear at court.

After some more meetings to plan the wedding ahead, you were tired. After you had gone back to your chambers, you changed in to your dragonriding gear, and decided to go explore the tunnels you had come across the night before.

First room, you had come across was your betrothed's brother, whom had a lady in his bed. Second room, was Helaena's, who was embroidering next to the fireplace. Growing tired of such an uneventful day, you had thought you might go visit your dragon outside the city's gates, but upon arriving to the end of the tunnel, you had noticed that there were guards standing there, and how would you explain wanting to leave the castle gates, espacially when you're trying to be under the radar.

And so you made your way back to chambers.

The next day after the other went the same. Trying to not show to much character, planning the wedding, spending time with the Queen, with the rare occasion of seeing someone else from that family crossing the corridors. Safe to say the life at you home island Mele Hontes was far more interesting.

After a little time, the day of the wedding had arrived, the assigned maids coming to your chambers to bathe you and dress you. After getting dressed you made your way to the Great Hall for the official ceremony. The ceremony was not Valyrian, which wasn't of your liking.

After the ceremony, an evening party was held with lots of dancing, drinking and chatting. You hadn't seen your uncle since the official ceremony, which you had noticed only when Aemond Targaryen finally decided to aproach you, at first you had thought, for a conversation, but you were wrong, he came to tell you that it was time for the bedding ceremony. But he added that, he, as a prince of the Realm, made sure that there will be no public bedding ceremony and instead a private one where there will be only you and him. It being after the wedding, you knew that there was no need for pretending, especially in front of Aemond. "I do not wish to have a bedding ceremony of any sort with you, dear husband." you answered. "Good, same can be said from my side." he added. You both were walked to Aemond's bed chamber and just sat on the bed for awhile before leaving.

Leaving Aemond's bed chamber and returning to your own, you sighed. But you were not left in peace alone. A knock on the door startled you, going to open the it, you hesitated, what if it's the Queen, your now husband, or worse, your uncle Jaekar, you haven't quite reconciled with him after the damn day he spoke your name. Nonetheless, you didn't keep the restless knocks unanswered. Upon opening the door, it was your uncle.

"I thought I might find you here." he stated.

"And what does that exactly mean?"

"Well, you know, he might have Valyrian blood but he is not your family." such a statement of his made your blood boil.
