you - Daelora Belaerys

The idea of expanding family's horizon was not new, in fact your great - uncle Jaekar had introduced it even before your parents had been born, before that your family had resided and hid from the world on that beloved island that you all called home. An occasional flight to the now destroyed Valyria but the same outcome was always inevitable, Valyria was NOT the same as it once was, and all that your family would see is A COMPLETE distruction, smoke, lava and dangerous beasts that once hurt your granfathers and now your dragon Gaelithox, whom was luckily healed by Jaekar. Jaekar was a smart man, and you admired him, he spoke many tongues, including the common tongue of Westeros, dabbled in magic (dark and simple one), took care of family's dragoneggs, and education. Though, he was your family and you admired his work, yet there was something that was off about him, no secret he bathed in blood and used magic to stay young but that was not what was off about him, gods you all did it. The words that had left your fathers' mouth after dinner whilst all your family including your cousins and grandmother was chatting, drinking wine, broke your heart.

(Translated from Valyrian) "My beloved family, my wife and uncle would like to talk to all of you about an important matter concerning all of us and our future." Suddenly the room had gone quiet and everyone turned their heads to look at you father, it seemed that even the ghosts of your ancestors had turned theirs to look at your father.

Your uncle Armax was the first one to speak up "Brother, with such a tone it would seem as if you're going to sell one of us off." Everyone except you parents and your great - uncle Jaekar laughed.

But your great - uncle Jaekar spoke up right after with an even harsher tone than your fathers. "Silence." was all he said.

You noticed that your mothers Vaena's eyes hadn't left you for this whole time, suddenly intimidated by your mothers eye contact you looked away but there on the other side you found your aunt and parents' sister Valaena staring at your mother.

The silence after your great - uncle's word was deafening. It seemed as if nobody wanted to speak up. And all of a sudden your brother Daemion had put a hand on your thigh, bringing you out of the racig thoughts in your mind.

All you did was glance at him and flash him your smile.

The silence and awkwardness was broken off by your father. "As once Jaekar had introduced the idea to you and father, mother." looking at your grandmother Visenya, who was a warrior woman but constantly visited by dragondreams. Your father continued... "We have revisited the idea of expanding our understanding of the world we live in today."

Everyone started whispering to each other, and the air in the room had changed, it became comfortable, the unknown that was awaiting was behind, you had seen the world from the sky from off the back of your dragons, so did your family but neither of you had wanted to step of your dragons and be exposed to the commonfolk of the once Valyrian Freehold, afterall you had heard of what had happened to other dragonlords, who survived the Doom (they were slain and their dragons were not spared).

Now, it was Jaekar's turn to speak "We've known about the Targaryens surviving the Doom on Dragonstone. And they are the other known dragonlords known to us. I've spied their doings using magic for years: the crisis of succession, the growing tensions between the members of the family, they are on the edge of falling apart." Was all he said. It wasn't new that the Targaryens had fled Valyria a few years prior to the Doom, the reason being that their daughter had had a dragondream but what was new, was that your great - uncle had been spying on them. You weren't mad that he didn't tell you, you were just dissapointed, because you would spend hours in the crypts learning magic with him, sharing whatever new things you'd learn.
