Maeve
I find it difficult to put my thoughts into words when she's on my mind. Her face, her lips, her scent, they all remind me of her. I never anticipated her falling for me so quickly, and I certainly didn't expect her love to be so intense. I realize now that I haven't reciprocated her affection in the same measure, she has given it. My emotions are a jumble, partly because of "her brother".
Yet, I can't deny that yesterday, I felt something more profound. I can't ignore the desire for more. She is a beautiful, strong, and generous woman who has been a great help to me and offered me freedom in some ways. But now, I'm left wondering how to mend the damage I've caused.
She even did something extraordinary for me, a testament to her deep love and affection. It was during a special occasion that I unfortunately missed, and to my surprise, she presented me with a finely crafted sword. The glimmering golden blade lay on my bed, adorned with a thoughtful arrangement of her favorite flowers, a sweet gesture that warmed my heart.
Regret for my oversight weighed heavily on me, leaving me silent and contemplative throughout the day. When she finally called out to me, I hurriedly made my way to her room, my gaze lowered, unable to meet her eyes in shame for what I had done.
"You called me?" I murmured softly.
"Do you know anyone else named Maeve?" she inquired, her tone firm and expectant.
"No! Look, Luna..." I began to explain but was promptly interrupted.
"Princess Luna!" she asserted, reminding me of her royal status.
"Princess Luna, I'm sorry I..." My words trailed off as I struggled to find the right words to express my remorse.
"Clean my room; I'm going out to visit my Queen, and you're coming with me!" Her command caught me off guard, yet I was grateful for an opportunity to make amends.
"Sure!" I responded, determined to set things right. With a sense of duty, I commenced cleaning her room, while she gracefully settled on the couch. Despite feeling exhausted, I remained focused, ensuring every corner was spotless, even as I reached her personal space.
"Can you please move your legs?" I asked hesitantly.
She looked at me, her eyes softening as she noticed my sweat-drenched appearance, and obligingly moved to the balcony, granting me access to her entire room. I continued with my task, realizing that the disorderly state of the room was likely intentional, an expression of her inner turmoil.
Once the room was immaculate, I hurriedly took a refreshing shower, not wanting to delay any further. As I got dressed, the realization struck me that I had scheduled training for today, adding to my concern. Time was of the essence, and with a sense of urgency, I rushed back to Princess Luna to inform her about my prior commitment.
"Luna... Princess Luna," I stammered nervously, "I just remembered that I have training scheduled for today. I won't be able to accompany you to visit the queen."
Her response was unexpected and definitive, "No!"
Confused, I asked, "What do you mean?"
She clarified with authority, "From now on, I will be the one to send you to training, and you will not go on your own!"
I attempted to express my concerns, "But... I've always gone to training independently, and it has never been an issue before."
"There's no 'but'," she interrupted firmly, "I made myself clear yesterday. Now, let's go. You mustn't be late for the Queen."
