Legend of oz: Dorothy and Garfield's return

Chapter 3

Dorothy went to the chicken coop "Anybody home?" Dorothy went inside. "Look, Toto, we can fix this." Toto barked. Dorthy said "Shh. You'll scare them." She clicked her tongue and clicked like a chicken then a chick jumped into her hand. "Hmm." She began singing.
When the world
turns upside down
Nothing is for sure
All the dreams you
thought were real

Dorothy moved the chicks back to the their mother. The four pets picked up the left behind chicks. Dorothy moved a board from the door. She waved to the chickens, then she heard the horse neighing

You can't find anymore
And then there's
how the pieces fly
Most of all the ones inside
If only I knew

The board was moved then the fence fell trapping the chickens.

How to fix it all I would
If only one heart

Dorothy went to the horse and calmed him down. She saw looked up to the damage to the roof.

All alone did any good
But I feel so small
What can I do at all

Dorothy used a sign to plug the hole in the roof. But the sign fell much to her and the horses shock.

When the world
has turned upside down?

She walked to the opening to the fence then walked into town. As she walked through the town she saw the damages as cars began to leave the town.

Oh
Nobody knows where the
world's gonna fly
But I still gotta give it a try

Dorothy saw some people arguing on where they're trying to go.

If the world turns upside down
On just a gust of wind

Dorothy heard Toto bark and growl as the four pets picked up some items from the rubble that might useful as Dorothy took them from their mouths

Guess I should get ready now
For when it comes again

Dorothy saw a girl as she made her doll wave. Dorothy waved back. The girl's father said "Come on, sweetie." The girl picked up her suitcase then went into the truck and they left.

What do I hold?
Where will I go?
And will I feel this all alone?

The gang walked through the town to the hills to see the town.

If only I knew
How to fix it all I would
If only one heart
All alone did any good
But I'm just so small
What can I do at all
Now that the world
has turned upside down?
Turned upside down

Dorothy sat down with an exhale. Then the pets rubbed against her hand.

Odie looked to see something behind them and barked Dorothy turned around and saw a rainbow "Oh. Oh, how pretty." As she stared it began to move "Huh. It must be some kind of optical illusion." She saw that it was coming closer to her and the boys.
"That's no illusion, boys. Run!" They ran only to the farm to the storm cellar, Dorothy fell then grabbed her when she fell in. She screamed "Help, Toto! Odie! Garfield! Vic! Help!" The rainbow then grabbed the pets as they flew off riding in the rainbow. They landed and covered their eyes. When they flew across the water, Dorothy touched the water then she heard a voice "Dorothy!" Dorothy got up then saw scarecrow "Hi, kiddo!" Dorothy asked "Scarecrow? What is this? What's happening?" Scarecrow said "We're flying you back to Oz in a
rainbow mover. I invented it." Lion then showed up "Show-off." "Cowardly Lion?" "It's just Lion now." He roared really loud "See?" "Oh, my." Tin man then showed up "Dorothy." "Hi, Tin Man." All three of them showed up as Lion waved "I am so overjoyed to see you." Dorothy said "You guys, dragging me into a giant rainbow really scared me." Tin man said "I can only imagine how you must feel. Trapped alone in a giant rainbow. Surrounded by colors." Scarecrow and Lion were confused beyond belief. "It must be just horrible! Oh!" Tin man began crying on Lion Scarecrow said "Ever since he got his heart, he's been all over the place." Tin man said "I never had emotions before.
I just want to try them all out." Scarecrow said "Dorothy, we don't have much time." Then the message began crackling "There's trouble in Oz, and only you... threatening the land... and you are the only one who can stop..." Dorothy gasped hearing knocking "What's that noise?" Scarecrow said "Hold that door!" Lion and tin man ran off to the door as scarecrow pulled on some switches. Dorothy asked "What's going on?" Scarecrow said "Hang on, Dorothy. We'll explain everything when you get here." Dorothy asked "Where?" Scarecrow replied "Emerald City! I-In the Wizard's chamber." Lion said "I smell flyin' monkeys!" Tin man and lion locked the door "Oh, no." "Monkeys!" "Dorothy. Scarecrow to Dorothy. Come in, Dorothy." "The door..." the monkeys began to punch through the door "Scarecrow to Dorothy. "Is starting to give!" "I've lost contact with Dorothy. I can't get her back!" Dorothy began screaming while sliding down the rainbow. Lion said "I can't hold it!" The two were launched and their hats fell off "Time's up!" Dorothy screamed "Aaah!" Lion and tin man put the wrong hats on. Lion shouted "Hurry!" They ran to the window "Come on!" The three ran out the window as the flying monkeys came in and messing up the place.

Dorothy and the boys were sliding the rainbow still then they landed into a garden. Dorothy grunted "Oof!" Then Toto landed in her lap as she grunted then the pets landed beside her. Toto fell back dizzyingly. Dorothy said as she looked around "I can't believe it, Toto. We're really back in Oz." Garfield said "Wow. Wait. I can talk again? I can talk again!" Vic said "So can I!" Dorothy said "It's been so long since I've heard your voices." She hugged them. Then when Dorothy put them down and touched the rainbow but it moved "Wait. Scarecrow?" Dorothy team to get the rainbow "Scarecrow!" Toto bumped into a flower fairy.

The rainbow disappeared then Dorothy said "Oh, great.
Come on, boys. We've got
to get to Emerald City.
It sounds like the guys
are in trouble." Garfield said "Big time." They began walking. "If only Glinda were here. She'd know what to do."
