I stand there awkwardly, tail twitching and trying not to look at any of the Ghouls directly.
"You can sit down over hear." Aurora says calmly.
I perk up a little, noticing she has a gentle expression on her face instead of an excited one.
I slowly make my way over, my hairs standing up, almost as if there's electricity in the air. Sitting down next to her I watch as Swiss whispers something in the Quintessential Ghouls ear. His ears perking up briskly as he nods his head, they both get up and walk out of the room.
I turn my attention back to Aurora, her smiling at me, "I can introduce you to everyone that is here already." She pauses and looks to the Ghoul next to her, one I've already sorta met.
"This is Sodo, he's a Fire Ghoul." He nods his head toward me as I look at him.
She points to the Ghoul next to Sodo, "That's Rain, he's a Water Ghoul." He gives me a small smile.
She points to a couple of Ghouls on a couch, "Those two are Cirrus and Cumulus, they're both Air Ghouls." They instantly wave at me with welcoming smiles.
She then points to the two Ghouls sitting in front of me at the table, "That's Mountain on the left, an Earth Ghoul. And that Phantom on the right, he's a Quintessence Ghoul as well."
"I was actually summoned not long ago," Phantom says, "I know it's not much, but we're both new." He voices to me.
"You were summoned six months ago, you're not really new anymore."Sodo says, looking toward the Quintessence Ghoul with a bored expression, " You already known the ropes, only thing you haven't done yet is gone on tour."
I watch their interaction, Phantom giving Sodo an irritable look.
"Don't pay any mind to them, they're always conflicting with one another." Aurora whispers to me.
"The two Ghouls that left were Aether, our lead Quintessence Ghoul, and Swiss our Multi Ghoul." She talks softly to me.
I tilt my head to the side, giving a curious look, "What's a Multi Ghoul? I've never heard of that till getting here." I ask.
Sodo whips his head toward me, "You've never heard of a Multi Ghoul?.. Were you from one of those old timey packs or something?"
My tail and ears drop, my aura making my face glow. "I was from the Water pack, so yeah... "
A couple of the Ghouls give each other mixed looks of concern and sympathy.
"I guess that means you don't know much of how the other packs run." Mountain softly says. I shake my head to answer him, my eyes not leaving the table.
"The Water pack is the only pack still on the old ways," Phantom speaks, "the rest of the packs kind of all mingle together now and aren't really separated."
"That's not what we were taught." I answer meekly. "We were taught that there were still some packs that ran in the old ways, that our pack wasn't the only one that operated the way that it did."
"Satan, you must be young then." Rain says.
I laugh a little softly, looking over to him. "Actually I'm 199, so I'll be a full adult on my next birthday."
I hear the two Ghouletts behind me cheer excitedly, "We have a new youngest!" Aurora is only a couple years older than you."
I look over toward Aurora, her face flushing a silvery aura.
"So when's your birthday?" Aurora asks, trying to change the conversation.
I think for a moment, "What month is it here?"
