SEVERUS POV-
I was making my way from my headquarters to the Great Hall. Today is the day students will come back and start the new term of school. On my way,i heard someone call me from behind.
I turned around and saw Lupin coming towards me. After he also survived the war which is one of my surprises,we had to talk and he apologized for everything that happens in our school. Of course I don't believe him at first but he keeps trying and showing me that he is really serious about to apologize.
After i completely forgive him,we had a lot of talk and we can say that we are friends. Although,we keep this secret due to Sirius Black is also at Hogwarts as a professor like me and Lupin. He is a DADA professor assistant to Lupin and also Gryffindor head of house.
Sirius still wasn't over making my life miserable and I still don't know why. Lupin had to apologize to the Black side since they are still best friends. He had told me that he bullied me at school due out of boredom and now he is bullying me due to the fact that I'm a death eater.
Black don't believe when people say that I'm a double agent. He always said ' Once a death eater, always a death eater '. He clearly doesn't know anything that some of them don't want to be a death eater like the Malfoy Family.
I just shake my head at his childish mind. After that. I gain my attention back to Lupin who comes towards me.
"Hey Snape. Ready to meet new students?"
"You know how I am handling the brat." I said as we continue walking to the Great Hall. He just chuckle and say,
"Yeah, you love kids"he say sarcasm. We just continue to walk to the Great Hall when we hear someone running towards us and called for Lupin. We turn around and saw black coming towards us. He stop right in front of Lupin while panting from the run he makes.
"Why did you not wake me up and wait for me?!" Black yelling while still panting from his tiredness. I saw Lupin just smiled and said
"I already try to wake you up 10 times already. You are the one who doesn't move. So I just leave you since I don't want to be late"
"But why are you walking with him ?!" Black ask while pointing his finger at me. Lupin just sigh and say
"We bumping into each other and since we are on the same way,we walk together. He didn't do anything "
"Yeah right, you really have to be careful Remmy. He might did cast a dangerous spell at you " Black say while glaring at me. I just rolled my eyes at his stupidity and continued walking, leaving them behind. Honestly, can i ever get some peace?.
"Don't come near us again.! I'm warning you,Snivellus.!" Black Shouted.I just keep walking until I reach the Great Hall and took my usual seat. After a few minutes, Sirius and Remus with others teacher come and sit at their seat.
Remus gain my attention who sit at my left. I looked at him and he mouthed ' sorry about earlier '. I nod by meaning it's fine since it not the first it's happening.
Remus smile but didn't say anything else since Sirius was sitting at his other job side but was talking to McGonagall. A few moments later, The Great Hall was full with students i was my snake talking and laughing like they have a good holiday but some of them i know that they are making a fake smile and laugh which I used to do. I will take a note and will talk to them later. I glanced over Gryffindor table and look at completely James spawn laughing with his friends.
The first time he comes here at Hogwarts,i know that that he is going to be exactly like a former James Potter and being a Gryffindor and having Sirius as his head of house,he do act like James Potter.
However, it's come to my surprises that he is also different from James Charlus Potter. Turn out,he still kind towards other people even Slytherin. A few of Slytherin in his year have been friends with him secretly.
They told me since he is excellent in Charm,he always helps other with it. He even help out Slytherin with correct way. It's do took me by surprise but I got to use by to believe not everyone will be that James Fleamot Potter.
Speaking of that, it's make me remind someone else i treat badly even when he didn't do anything wrong. I have apologized but there is something else i feel guilty about him.
After a few moments,the 1st year come into the hall. I looked over each of them and noticed some weird behavior like uncomfortable and panicking. Suddenly, I remembered Draco says Scorpius should be in Hogwarts this year.
I glanced around trying to find the young Malfoy when I spotted him with a boy with familiar hair and eyes. I feel someone nudged my shoulder and say Lupin looks towards me and says,
"Harry's second son will enter this year."
Great, another Potter. I saw him have black hair that may be a little messy but still well cared for. His green eyes were darker than his father and grandmother.
I noticed his behavior. He looks scared and panics at the same time. He keeps looking around, trying to avoid eyes content with other people.
When he was in front of the staff table with others in the 1st year and waited for the resort, he jumped pretty violently towards Scorpius and clutched himself to him. Scorpius managed to calm him down and keep his arm around the black hair boy. The black haired boy keeps looking around and his eyes land on the staff table.
He blushes when he looks at Lupin giving him a smug smile. However,he eyes are scared when he sees Black .Lupin notice that and smack Black head. I'm sure it is because Black noticed Potter's son was with the son of an ex-death eater.
After that,his eyes landed on me. I looked towards those Dark green eyes and he looked towards my onyx eyes. I suddenly feel something weird inside of me.
Suddenly, Scorpius name has been called and he lets go of the younger Potter. He looks like he is about to panic due to Scorpius not with him. I don't know why I want to go to him,hug him and calm him down.
Why do I suddenly feel like this?. Finally,the name was called. So He is named after Albus huh?. That's really not surprising.
He got up and sat on the chair. He looks anxious and panicking all over his face. I suddenly feel those weird feelings again.
What is happening to me?!
After a good amount of minutes,the hat finally shouted for the house that made not just me but the entire Hall silent for a while .
"SLYTHERIN!!!"
