ALBUS POV-
I feel a little better after students from Slytherin talk to me. They welcome me here that's making me warm. Suddenly, I hear uncle Sirius talk about me being in Slytherin and that this house is evil.
That makes me shiver a little at the thought of telling dad and dad will say he is disappointed in me. That though makes me scared and I don't realize Scorpius called me,
"Albus? Albus!?" I feel he rubbing my back in order to comfort me. I also saw that other upper students also try to comfort me by telling me to ignore what uncle Sirius has said and taking a deep breath.
After a while, I managed to calm down and thanked all of them. One student from the 3rd year that is sitting on the other side introduced himself as Milton Floris.
"Don't listen to him Potter. He doesn't have the right to judge you in the right house or not."
"Yeah Potter, don't worry. Tell us if anyone bothers you" a girl that looked like a girl version of Floris says.
" I'm Ruby Floris by the way. Milton twin. You can call us by our name so you don't get confused by us." I nodded and said,
"You guys can call me Albus or Al. I prefer being called that." I saw others nodded in agreement so that they don't get confused by my brother.
For the rest of the sorting,i have a chat with Scorpius to help me calm. After the last student sorting, the feast starts and the food appears in front of us. I am amazed by all the meals until I almost forgot to eat.
While I was eating,i felt someone was staring at me. I looked up and met Rose's gaze and saw her disappointment face. I can tell by her look that she is mad that I was getting along with other Slytherin students.
I felt my panic raise back and went to my meals to avoid her look. After the feast, the 5th year prefect brought the 1st year to our common room while showing around the Hogwarts. Scorpius and I almost screamed by the staircase that was moving.
When we arrive at the common room,the prefect says the password. We came inside and I was amazed by the decorations. It looks so comfortable with the theme of green, black and silver.
The prefect gave us speech and when he is done,our head of the house comes out from the shadows behind the prefect. I literally don't see him standing there and his appearance makes me and other gasps. He dismissed other students except for prefect and other students who wanted to help.
"Welcome to Slytherin house. I'm professor Severus Snape, The head of the house.This house is ambitious and we focused on our goal. We may have been seen as evil,so we have to take care of each other. If you saw someone from our house get bullied by students from another house, help them. I suggest you do not walk around alone. Ravenclaw may seem like the house of books 'bookworm' but in this house i also expect the best performance from everything. Everything you do will get your house point or lose house point. If anyone manages to get 100 house points,i will give them a special give for yule." Professor Snape says.
"Oh, i wanna try" Scorpius says quietly. I also want to try. Maybe Dad will be glad if managed to get 100 points in my first year.
"If you want to make trouble make sure you get caught by me" Professor Snape continues his speech while smirks making me and other students with us giggle. He chuckled and continued again.
"I will give you a timetable tomorrow after breakfast. No students are allowed to get out of the common room after curfew. Curfew at 9 on Monday until Friday while at weekend was at 11. If you hurt go to hospital Wing or you can come personal to me if you feel uncomfortable. Come to me or the prefect that you trust if you have problem. Now the prefect will show you your room. Have some rest for first day of class tomorrow. Mr Potter and Mr Malfoy come meet me after unpack. Now of to your bed." Professor Snape end his speech.
I looked at Scorpius with questions face. Why he wants to me?. I understand in the Scorpius case since he says Professor Snape is his father's godfather. However,why he wants to meet with me?
"I don't know Al. Maybe he wants to get to know you" Scorpius says.
"Alright"I say even though I'm not actually convinced. Scorpius and I follow the prefect and find out we are roommates.
We were amazed by the room. It looks big enough for two or more.There are two beds at each side of the room with curtain, two wardrobes,two study tables, a bookshelf and one door that I believe was a bathroom.
"You two go unpack. I come back later to bring you guys to the Professor Snape office." The prefect says and leaves us to unpack. Scorpius took at the right side of the room, i took the left side of the room.
While unpacking, i still don't understand why Professor Snape wants to meet me.
"I don't know why Al. Let's just do what he says." Scorpius says. I nodded and continued unpacking.
After a few minutes,we are done and going outside to meet with the prefect to bring us to the professor Snape office since we still don't know the location around here. We are walking and I am still confused in my head.
