I don't know how it got to this point, but the way I'm in a room, full of warriors looking at me up and down make me wish I was killed a few minutes ago. But I can't turn back now.

At least I don't have the magic to do it.

"So this chick is supposed to be one of us?" One of them spits.

"Can she even handle being in the back of a bird?" Another jokes and the whole set of guys start laughing.

I stand up straight and give my best to do an intimidating face, failing miserably as I notice the one at the front raising an eyebrow.

Only when I look around I notice that I'm in an arena, but I don't have enough time to examine it before the king comes closer, resting his arm around my shoulders "Here you are, do you know what you're doing here?"

I shake my head, too intimidated to speak and he chuckles "We're testing you, one of the warriors" He winks to the side, pressumably to the one he was referring to "told me to test you, just like we test all warriors before they go to the sky kingdom, you're one of them after all" He says, the last words being emphasized like some kind of joke.

"It can only be fair that way" I say, agreeing.

"Very well" He announces "Let the games begin, and try not to be killed in the process kid" He says before backing away, the warriors following him.

They sit at the top, facing me. There's like 30 of them, which isn't much. I look behind me and there's my crossbow, which I run to before they take it away although they would've if they wanted to.

Every year the Eadonth's warriors have to do a test, a mortal test, if they can't handle it they die. I won't lie, the fact that there's so little warriors here make me nervous, especially since there is so many of them who are diagnosed every year. Plus, this test is for boys, it's made for their bodies and what they can do.

I've only trained with the crossbow, and I obviously don't have the body of a man, so I can only hope I don't fall to my death, I notice by the king's smirk that that's what he's expecting.

I have to think, there's a timer, with one minute.

I get some branches and put them in the bow bag, incase all of them get lost, and then I look for places where I can hide, which aren't there, this whole thing is deserted.

Then, I feel the floor, trying to see if there's any machinery going on that can make me fall of the face of the earth.

30 seconds.

I find while touching the floor that there is a glitch on the color of the grass, turning it blue for a second and then green again. I was lucky that while I noticed that the king was sipping wine, so he didn't see me.

I take off my belt, earning whistles for a few warriors, and then tie it around one of the bows, hoping it'll work out.

3,2,1...

And it starts, a lion comes off the door, as mad as ever and runs to me.

Too easy, I jump around him and stick him with a branch from behind, saving then one of the bows, which are 8, 7 without the belt bow thing.

He winces and falls to the floor, breathing hard, I run to it expecting to examine the wound and he jumps out, hoping to eat me.

I don't want to kill him, he's an innocent animal, but I can't let him eat me either.

"I don't wanna kill you" I whisper while raising my hands and he tilts his head, confused

I run around and he does too behind me. I hear the whole arena laughing and I raise an eyebrow.
