It's been a month since Bailey left. Morgan was expecting a child in less than 3 months, while Alex was gaining popularity from her music, releasing songs with official music videos, and creating more for her fans. At each show, Alex performed six of her own songs and sang duets with Morgan, Michael, and Lainey.
"Let's go swimming!" Caleigh suggested. She had joined on the third leg of the tour, missing Michael and Alex, and they had gained room on the bus.
"Agreed!" Lainey exclaimed, running from the breakfast room to her hotel room.
"Oh no, you're not beating me." Alex said, sprinting off in the same direction, racing Lainey to their rooms.
Michael looked at Morgan, shaking his head with a laugh. "And she's the one?"
Morgan nodded, a smile plastered on his face. "Yeah, she is."
Alex and Morgan were not official. They hadn't talked much about it since Bailey left, and the unresolved tension lingered between them.
The group dried off, heading to one room to hang out before leaving for the venue. They laughed and shared stories, enjoying the brief respite before the night's performance.
That evening, the venue buzzed with energy as the crowd eagerly awaited the show. Alex sang her songs with passion, the audience singing along to every word. Lainey joined her for a duet, their voices blending beautifully.
As the night progressed, Morgan took the stage for his final song. The crowd cheered loudly, and the energy in the room was electric. Just as he was hitting the high note, a bra sailed through the air, landing at his feet.
Morgan glanced down, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. He bent down, picked up the bra, and held it up by the strap with his teeth, causing the audience to erupt in laughter and applause. He continued the song, twirling the bra around for a moment before tossing it back into the crowd.
Backstage, Alex and the others watched the scene unfold on the monitor. Caleigh shook her head, laughing. "Typical Morgan."
Alex couldn't help but feel a rush of jealousy surge through her veins as she watched him, the bra tossed casually over his shoulder. Irrational, she knew, yet undeniable. As the show concluded and the crowd dispersed, Alex swiftly made her way to Morgan's dressing room, her pulse quickening with every step.
When Morgan entered, he was taken aback to find Alex waiting for him. "Alex?" He questioned, his tone tinged with confusion and curiosity.
Without hesitation, Alex closed the distance between them, her voice betraying a hint of possessiveness as she confessed, "Seeing you with that bra, I didn't like it."
Morgan raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk tugging at his lips. "Oh? Jealous, are we?"
In a bold move, Alex captured his lips in a possessive kiss, pouring all her conflicting feelings-jealousy, longing, and desire-into that single, passionate moment. Morgan, initially surprised, quickly responded, his hands instinctively finding her waist as he reciprocated the intensity of her kiss.
As their lips fused in a heated embrace, the tension between them escalated into an electric frenzy. Alex's fingers gripped Morgan's hair with an urgency, pulling him closer as she sought to dominate his senses. His hands roamed greedily over her back, tracing the curves of her spine with a hunger that matched her own.
Breaking the kiss but not the intensity, Morgan's voice resonated low and husky against her ear, "You're the only one who stirs me like this, Alex. No one else. You know that?"
Morgan's lips trailed a path of fire down her neck, igniting a trail of desire that consumed them both. "You don't have to worry, Alex. I'm all yours." He murmured, his words laced with a promise that sent shivers down her spine.
