✿♡Chapter 6♡✿

Yuna's POV:

"Yuna, where are we going to meet Ryujin?" Chaeryeong asked me. We had just entered the mall, looking for my bestie Ryujin.

"She said she'll meet us at Starbucks, but I don't know if she's there already." I replied.

The last time me and Ryujin went out was 2 weeks ago, I think. She's a nurse, and she's been working really hard, so she didn't really have enough time to hang out until today.

"Then let's go there already. My feet are tired!" Chaeryeong complained. "Geez, we've only been walking for like 10 minutes! But fine, let's go." I dragged her further into the mall until we reached Starbucks.

"Should we wait for Ryujin before we order?" Chaeryeong asked once again. "Yeah, let's wait for her. Let's pick a table first." I replied.

We found a table not too far away from the entrance so that when Ryu comes in, she would be able to notice us right away. As if on cue, Ryujin came inside right after we sat down.

"Ryujin! Over here!" I waved my hands up. She quickly came over our table, and we hugged.

"I miss you, girl! How are you?" She said while smiling. "I'm doing great! Oh, and this is one of my friends, Chaeryeong." I introduced her to Ryujin.

"Hi, it's nice to finally meet you! You're Felix's younger sister, right? He talks about you a lot!" She said, also hugging Chaeryeong. They get along very well.

"It's nice to meet you too! I hope my brother treats you well or else I'm going to smack him with a frying pan." She jokingly said to Ryujin. We laughed it off.

"Did you guys order already?" She asked while sitting down. "Not yet. We were waiting for you so we could order together. Well, what would you guys like to get?" I asked standing up to get our orders.

"I'll have the Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino." Chaeryeong stated. "And I'll have a Burnt Caramel Oatmilk Latte." Ryujin replied. "Do you guys want some food?" I ask before getting in line.

"I'm not really hungry. I ate at home before I got here." Ryujin said. "I'm not going to get anything else either." Chaeryeong added. "Got it, I'll be right back." I went to the counter and stood behind the line.

Hmmm, what should I get? Ah! I'll just get my go to drink.

"Next customer, please!" The guy at the counter screamed. Ah, it's my turn.

"Good day! What may I get you?"

Oh my goodness! It's Jeongin from the library!

"Oh, hey Jeongin! Fancy seeing you here." I gave him a small smile. "Hey." He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck.

He's pretty cute up close. Wait, what am I thinking? I'm here to order, not to flirt!

"Uh, what do you want to order?" He spoke, pulling me away from my thoughts. "I'll get a Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino, a Burnt Caramel Oatmilk Latte, and a Chocolate Chip Cream Frappuccino. That's all." I stated all of our orders.

"Alright, I'll just call your name once your order is done." He said, tapping on the monitor in front of him. "Next customer, please!" He yelled once again.

Phew! Finally, I could get back to our table now. "I'm done ordering. We'll just have to wait for it to be handed out." I sat down on my chair.

"So, what's up?" Ryujin asked. "Nothing much, just me working as usual." I answered. "Same for me. Life feels so mundane right now." Chaeryeong sighed, and put her chin on her hand.

"What about you? Anything interesting happened in your life recently?" I asked Ryujin.

"Girl, trust me. Everyday in the hospital is a new definition of interesting." She shook her head. It must be so hard for her working as a nurse.

"That bad huh? Geez, I don't know how you handle your job." I replied.

"Are you a doctor, Ryujin?" Chaeryeong asked. Right! I totally forgot to tell her more about Ryujin.

"I'm a nurse actually. My older brother is the doctor in our family." Ryujin chuckled slightly. "Ooh, so how's the experience of being a nurse for you?" Chaeryeong asked again.

"Well, like I said earlier, a lot of interesting things happen inside the hospital. For example, a patient I was handling this week puked on me. Another example, is this kid I got assigned to look after. He threw a tantrum because he didn't want to take his medicine. His cries and screams got too much for me, so the nurse in charge had to step in. Well, my point is, it's tough working as a nurse, but I do what I can so that the patients could feel better, and be better." Ryujin responded.

"Wow! You're definitely out of my brother's league. Haha! But seriously speaking though, you guys rock. What you do to make patients feel better usually goes unnoticed, but I just want to appreciate and compliment you guys for that." Chaeryeong smiled warmly at her.

"She's right, you know? A nurse's job isn't easy, and you definitely deserve recognition for all your hard work." I added to Chaeryeong's statement.

"Aww, you guys! Thank you so much! I definitely needed that dose of encouragement." Ryujin put her arms out, signaling for a hug. We smiled at her, then we group hugged.

"Order for Ms. Yuna!" Someone screamed out. Awe, man! We were having a moment here! "Well, those are our drinks! I better go get them before anyone else does." I said, laughing a bit at the last part. I went up to the counter.

"Enjoy your drinks." Jeongin smiled at me.

Aish, his smile is just too cute! Yuna, stop it! You need to get the drinks, remember?

"Yeah, we will. Thanks." I smiled back.

I really need to go back to our table or else I might faint. I grabbed the tray, and went back.

"Do you guys want to go to the arcade after this?" Ryujin asked while taking a sip of her latte. "Sure! That sounds like fun." Chaeryeong cheered.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Oh, do you guys mind if Yeji will join us later? I told her she could tag along once she's done visiting Lia." I told them about Yeji.

"We don't mind. The more the merrier! And speaking of other people joining us, Felix said he'll drop by as well." Ryujin replied.

"He better pay for the arcade tokens." Chaeryeong squinted her eyes. "Do you have some rivalry going on with your brother or something? Why are you squinting like that?" I asked her.

"No. I'm the youngest, remember? They better treat me like a princess." She replied with a smug smile on her face. Ryujin just snickered at her.

*Ring! Ring! Ring!* Oh, it's Yeji.

"Hey, unnie." I answered the phone. "Yuna, are you still at the mall?" She asked. "Yeah, we're still here. We're with Ryujin at Starbucks." I answered.

"I called because I couldn't join you guys today, I have things to take care of. Maybe we can meet up next time."

Awww, she couldn't join. I was looking forward to it, but I guess we could hang out with her on another day.

"Oh, okay. Take care, unnie. Bye." I replied. "Okay, bye. Love you." She answered, then hung up.

"Guys, Yeji said she can't go with us today. She has things to take care of." I told the two. "Awww, but that's okay. There are other days we could hang out with her." Chaeryeong said. "Well, since we're all finished with our drinks, should we go to the arcade?" Ryujin stood up, and so did we. "Yeah, let's go!" I cheered. We went out after putting our cups in the trash bin.

Hey, guys! I'm sorry if I didn't update last week. I got a case of writer's block so I couldn't come up with something, but I soon got an idea what to write, so here you go! Here's a double update to make up for it. Anyways, I hope you liked it! I postponed the update for Summer because I didn't write anything yet, but I will post Chaoter 20 this Friday. I hope you guys have a great week ahead!
