Jeongin’s POV:

Hyunjin just called me. He said he was already in front of my apartment complex, now all I have to do is wait for him to arrive in my room.

*Ding Dong* Speaking of Hyunjin, I guess this is him.

*Click* I got out of bed, and unlocked the door.

“Annyeong, baby bread!!!” Hyunjin had a huge smile on his face as he greeted me. “Annyeong, hyung! Come in, you must be tired from travelling from Daejeon.” I opened the door much further so that he can bring his stuff inside.

“So, what have you been up to these days?” I asked as I went to my small kitchen to get him a glass of water. “I’ve been teaching as usual, but school break just started so I have 2 months off.” Hyunjin was settling down in the living room.

"Ooh, so you have no work while you're here. What will you be doing then?" I asked while giving him the glass of water I was holding.

"Just roam around Seoul, I guess. I don't really know what to do with the whole girlfriend situation my parents put me in." He shrugged his shoulders and drank the water I gave him.

"Why don't you try looking for a girlfriend then? It would make your parents happy, maybe it could even make you happy." I sat down on the couch with him.

"You think so? I just feel like they're rushing me too much. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to grow old alone, but I don't think I'm ready for a relationship right now." He put the glass down on the table in front of us.

He has a point. Even if he did find a girlfriend, I think it would only go downhill if he isn't ready for it yet. What's the point of finding a partner if you aren't ready to face the trials of being in a relationship?

"I see what you mean, hyung. Being in a relationship is no joke. You get to face a lot of problems and hardships while being in one. But, that doesn't mean you only get to see the bad side of everything, you also get to understand one another through those problems. You get to learn a lot of lessons, fight through different scenarios, and live a life full of adventures together. Just take your time, hyung. You'll figure out a decision once you figure out yourself first." I smiled and pat his shoulder.

I've been in a relationship before, and I was in a somewhat similar situation as Hyunjin hyung. It did not end well, my ex and I used to fight a lot, I don't even know why we ended up together in the first place. You could say it was a result of my impulsive actions when I was younger. After the breakup, I realized that I wasn't cut out to be in a relationship yet. Yes, It was fun at first, but things got a lot harder for me as time went on. So, here's my advice, if you think you aren't prepared for something yet, give yourself some time to do so. You'll only regret the repercussions of your decisions if you dive into something you aren't truly prepared for.

"Wow! Look at you, all grown up with that advice of yours. You're not a baby bread anymore, you're a tough toast now." He squished my cheeks, maybe a little too hard. He even wiped away non-existent tears from his eyes. Ugh, such a drama queen.

"Ow, ow! Alright, I get it, can you stop squishing my cheeks now?" I yanked his hands away from my face. We both laughed.

"On a serious note though, thank you for the advice. I'll keep what you said in mind." Hyunjin smiled at me and ruffled my hair.

"Of course hyung, anytime. Oh, wait, do you want to eat dinner?" I asked him.

"Yeah, I do. My stomach is begging for food." He said as he rubbed his belly, asking for food.

"Ok, I'll just order fried chicken for us." I got up from the couch to get my phone and ordered our food.

Meanwhile...

Yeji's POV:

"Yeji, I'll be going home now. I already prepared Haneul's dinner, it's in the fridge, you can reheat it once he wakes up. Just call me if you need anything, dear." Mary grabbed her bag, and put on her shoes as she bid goodbye to me.

"Oh, okay. Please be safe on your way home, Mary. I'll see you next week." I waved at her.

Mary will be taking the week off starting tomorrow. I told her she needed some time to herself and her family since she doesn't really see them that much. And for Haneul, he's napping in his room. I'll probably wake him up for dinner later.

*Ring! Ring! Ring!* my little bookworm🤎 is calling...

"Hey, unnie! How are you? I miss you so much already." I answered my phone, and was instantly greeted by my cheerful sister.

"Didn't I just see you a few hours ago?" I chuckled at her clingy behavior.

"I know, but I still miss you. What are you doing right now?" She asked.

"Just having a movie marathon in the living room. Haneul is still sleeping so I had a few hours to myself. What about you?" I took a bite of the snack I made for myself earlier.

"I'm stalking this cute guy I met at the library about a week ago. To be honest, he was the one I was talking to on the phone when Cherry was over two days ago." Yuna giggled like a 14 year old girl. Geez, is this what it's like having a little sister who has a crush?

"My little bookworm is all grown up! Look at her having a crush already!" I teased Yuna. This is the first time I've ever heard my sister giggle like that. She doesn't do that unless mom makes her favorite food, and that says something.

"Stop teasing! I'm going to use this moment against you someday. Just so you wait, I'll tease you with someone too." Now she's whining. My sister can be a baby sometimes.

"WAAAAHHH!!!" Speaking of a baby, Haneul is awake now.

"Yuna, I'll call you back later. Haneul just woke up, and he's probably hungry." I stood up from the couch to go to Haneul's room.

"Okay. Dad just got home, so we'll have dinner too. Bye!"

"Bye! Talk to you later!" After saying our goodbyes, I hung up the call.

"Jiji, Haneul is hungry." Haneul said in a cute voice. He calls me Jiji because it's easier for him to say instead of my actual name.

"Okay, baby. Come on, let's go. I'll prepare your food." I carried him to the dining room.

"Jiji, where is mommy and daddy?" The little boy tilted his head in curiosity. He looked at me with those big, round eyes of his.

"They're in another place right now, kiddo. They'll be gone for a while until they come back." I put Haneul's food inside the microwave so that he can eat his dinner already.

"Really? So that means I'll be alone for a long time." He pouted his lips, but he didn't seem to have any tears in his eyes.

"Yeah, you won't be with your parents, but your Aunty Jiji is here with you so you won't be alone!" I smiled to try and cheer him up.

"Yay! I get to show Jiji my toys!" He smiled too, then hugged me right after.

Haneul is a bright kid. He doesn't even go to school yet, but he already knows a lot. Another thing about him is, he doesn't cry easily like other children. Yes, he may complain, but he doesn't shed tears very often. He's a tough little guy, I'll tell you that. Haneul probably got that from Minho, he rarely cries either.

Anyway, after feeding Haneul, all I have to do is put him to sleep, then I'll have plenty of time to myself again.
