"S-sorry Levi," I mumbled. I couldn't seem to stand back up, my legs wouldn't hold me up. He sighed and rolled his eyes. "Look at you, you can't even walk," he grumbled. The he scooped me up into his arms and started carrying me. It felt good to be held in his strong muscular arms I thought, and I felt my face heat up again as I thought it.
"You can put me down, I can walk fine Levi," I said trying to sound nonchalant about it, but I could hear my voice crack when I said his name. "No, you walk too slow, carrying you is much faster," Levi said in a tone that told me not to argue. I let myself be carried but we soon got to Levi's car and he put me in the passenger seat. He lingered over top of me for a second before grabbing the seatbelt and clicking it into the holder for me.
Levi closed the door and walked around to the drivers side of the car and slowly got into the seat. I noticed that he did not put on his seatbelt, but I thought it best not to question him. I stared out of the window for the whole ride, occasionally telling him where to turn, and there was several times I felt Levi's eyes on me, but I did not turn around.
The car ride back seemed so much shorter, and I sat in the seat for a few seconds after he had put the car in park. "This is it, right?" I nodded and finally turned to look at him. "Thank you for taking me home Levi," I said and he nodded acknowledgment. I undid my seatbelt and continued to sit there, for some reason I couldn't bring myself to get out. "What is it?" Levi asked, kind of harsh but worried.
"Oh, it's nothing I just, I don't know," I said. 'Wow, real smooth,' I thought to myself sarcastically. I looked at Levi again and saw that he was staring at me. He began to lean forward and I gasped in shock. He stopped and leaned back again, clearing his throat. "I uh, sorry," he said looking extremely uncomfortable. I began to smile again, him being uncomfortable was kind of cute to me.
Before I realized what I was doing I found myself leaving forward and him looking at me in complete shock. "Jaeger, you're drunk I think it's best for you to go inside, now," he said looking away. I shook my head. I didn't seem to have any control over my actions. "I'm not leaving without a goodbye kiss," I said then widened my eyes at my own words. What was going on with me? Was this the alcohol or what I really wanted?
"Jeager, please-" "Call me Eren," I said cutting him off. He rolled his eyes, "Eren, you need to go, before i hurt you," he said. I looked at him, hurt. "I thought we were getting along fine though," I said my voice sounding more whiny than I had intended it to. He just sat there looking at me. "Fine," I said and turned to open the car door. "Jeager." I began to turn back towards him, "Didn't I tell you to-" our lips met.
