🎧: Prey - The Neighbourhood
It was a rainy morning, after an eventful night. Melodie and her friends threw a housewarming party at her new home in Munich.
She slowly opened her eyes but closed them right back as the sunlight was too much for the girl. She was hungover and tired.
The blonde then again tried opening her eyelids and this time succeeded. She looked around the room to see some unknown man laying next to her.
She tried recalling what happened so he ended up here but without any results. Then she slowly got out of bed not waking up the guy.
She tiptoed through her very messy bedroom and slipped outside to the hallway, where she saw a even bigger mess.
She groaned and walked downstairs making sure to stay as quiet as possible. When she got there, the girl again glanced around her house, seeing random garbage all around.
There was going to be a lot of cleaning to do after everyone left, but for now she couldn't care less. She heard someone moving stuff in the kitchen, so obviously she decided to go and check it out.
When Melodie made it to the brightly coloured room, she realised it was her best friend Jamal trying to make himself something to eat.
"I thought i was the only one awake." She murmured and leaned over the counter. The boy turned around to look at his friend and gave her a smile.
"You thought wrong. Do you want a coffee?" He immediately replied as standing near the cabinet with all the mugs and cups.
Melodie nodded her head and held her hand up to her forehead. "Could you also pass me some pain killers? My head's killing me." She added.
Jamal passed her a mug with coffee inside of it and turned around to open the drawer where Melodie kept her medications. He gave her a pill and a glass of water.
"You're a life saver. Also, do you have any idea what this guy was doing in my bed?" She asked, still trying to figure out what happened.
Jamal sighed and stood in front of the blonde. Melodie raised her eyebrow while waiting for a reply from her fellow friend.
"That's Michael. He is a new Munich signing.." He finally replied making Melodie blush from embarrassment.
"Oh my god?" She asked in disbelief and put down her drink. She shook her head and let a small laugh slip out of her mouth.
Jamal nodded his head and smiled as he realised the reaction Melodie had. The two then made their way to the living room where they begun to clean up.
After a few hours and many guests leaving, they finally were done. Besides some people who still hadn't woken up.
Melodie peaked in her bedroom to see whether Michael had woken up yet, and was surprised to not find him there anymore.
She quietly backed up, which led to her bumping straight into him on the hallway. He smiled to her softly.
"Good morning. I was just looking for you to say goodbye." He explained.
"And i was looking for you." She chuckled and glanced up at the guy. "And it's a see you later."
Michael raised his eyebrow up in confusion and looked at the girl, trying to figure out what she wanted to tell him.
"I work at Bayern silly."
"Right. I'll see you on Monday then." He grinned and put his hands in his pockets.
Melodie nodded her head and kissed the guy's cheek for a goodbye, then proceeded to walk away. He left the house shortly after.
A couple of minutes later, someone knocked at the door. The blonde thought that it might've been one of the guests and that they left something behind.
She walked up to open them and was surprised to see her ex fiancée. The girl rolled her eyes and as she was about to shut the front door right in front of his face, he stopped her.
Xavi Simons, who Melodie dated for over four years before splitting up, was disturbing her peace. The reason for the breakup was his disloyalty towards her.
He talked to multiple girls behind her back and even slept with some or got caught in the act by his cousins, who told Melodie all about it.
She cut him off almost a month ago now, which was the best decision she's ever made. Yet there he was, begging for her to take him back.
"Go home." She commanded to the dutch.
"Please just let me explain myself." He begged.
"I'd rather shit in my hands, lick them clean, then do it again and clap." She replied and with that slammed the door.
He wouldn't give up on trying to get her back, but she wasn't stupid. She couldn't have forgiven and forgotten cheating.
Melodie walked back to the living room where Jamal was sitting. He was on his phone but when he noticed the girl sat beside him, he put it down.
"He needs to let go." Jamal spoke and looked beside him, trying to read his friend's face.
Melodie sighed and leaned back on the couch. "He's so tiering it's stupid." She replied shortly after.
"Give it some time, he'll leave you alone at some point." The guy assured as standing up."I'd stay for longer but i gotta get going. Call me if you need anything."
Melodie nodded her head, then waving her head as closing her eyes. Jamal left the house leaving the blonde all to herself.
She sat straight on the couch and pulled out her red notebook, opening it and taking out a pen. She begun to write in it.
