Christmas was coming up and so Melodie and her friends decided to go for a short trip. The winter break had started three days before christmas eve.
The girl went away with a small group: Leroy with his wife and kids, Kai and Sophia, Levi and Jamal. Michael backed out last minute which upset Melodie but she didn't have much time to be upset over it.
They were going by a car to a small town in Austria, Soelden which was near the Alps. The whole drive there from Munich took nearly 3 hours which wasn't too long.
They were staying in a wooden cottage which had a beautiful view on a small lake and the mountains. The resort had a few of those rental houses on their property.
The group was going in separate cars. Kai was driving with Sophia and had some of the other people's luggages in their car as they had lots of free space.
Leroy was going with his wife and two children: Rio and Milo. They were adorable and everyone loved when Leroy and Candice would bring them to the trips.
In the third car was Melodie, Levi and unfortunately or not, Jamal. The trio was once attending the same school and would be really close as kids.
It's changed since Levi stayed in London and Jamal with Melodie moved back to Germany. They still hung out but not as often, and now adding what happened between Jamal and Melodie, it was going to be a long ride.
