Chapter 5

"Seokmin has forgotten us"

There was pin-drop silence in the room. No one dared to speak.

The four newcomers couldn't process the newfound information provided to them.

"W-what?"

"You are joking, right? Tell me it's a joke. I refuse to believe that Seok forgot our SeokSoon talk", said Soonyoung.

"It's not the time to joke about these things Seungcheol. Quit playing and tell us the truth", said Jun.

"I am not joking Youngie and Jun, it's the truth. Seokmin has forgotten the past twelve years of his life", said Seungcheol.

Minghao stumbled backwards. Jun caught him on time.

"D-does Joshua know?"

"No I can't even imagine his reaction", said Mingyu.

"Joshua will be coming anytime soon and he is coming with Minji", informed Seungcheol as he read Jeonghan's message on his phone.

Seokmin started stirring in his sleep. He slowly opened his eyes and saw five new people in the room.

He tried getting up on his own but couldn't.

Mingyu and Minghao rushed towards his side and made him sit on the bed comfortably.

"Thank you", he said with a small smile.

Seokmin looked at the others present in the room.

He believes that he has seen them somewhere but where he can't remember that.

Seungcheol, Jun, Soonyoung, Jihoon and Minghao were sad seeing that their friend was staring at them as if they were complete strangers.

"Can someone tell me what's wrong with me and how I ended up in the hospital?", asked Seokmin looking at them for answers.

"You got into an accident and that accident caused you to forget the past twelve years of your life", said Mingyu calmly.

Seokmin stared at him and then began laughing.

But seeing the serious expressions of the people in the room he stopped.

"What? You are joking right?"

"Why would I joke about such things?", asked Mingyu.

"It's absolutely absurd. How can one accident cause someone to forget twelve years of his memories? Not one month, not two months but twelve, twelve freaking years? How can you expect me to believe that?", asked Seokmin.

"You have to believe it. You don't even remember us. And you even told the doctor that you were going on an audition before you were brought here. That's enough to tell you that you forgot everything", said Mingyu.

"Of course, I am telling the truth. I was supposed to audition yesterday", said Seokmin.

"Seokmin that was twelve years ago, now you are in a successful band named Seventeen. You are married and have a kid with that person", said Seungcheol.

"W-what? I-i am m-married?"

"Yes Min, you are. You have married Joshua Hyung a fellow member of our band and also you have a kid with him", said Mingyu.

"And what about you? What relation do I have with you?", asked Seokmin.

He couldn't help but ask that question because as soon as he opened his eyes, the tall guy had never left his side even once. And he could see genuine worry in the eyes of the man.
