"My phone ran out of battery and I didn't have my charger with me. Seok is all fine now. Almost all his deep wounds are healed but yes it might take him a few weeks to get back to his feet completely"

Mingyu's answer somewhat eased their worries. They trusted Mingyu completely. They knew he wouldn't lie when it comes to Seokmin. But there was this constant nagging in their mind, something seemed off. The way Mingyu spoke about Seokmin, it was the same like how other Hyung's have spoken with them.

Even Mingyu is hiding something from them.

"What are you hiding from us Mingyu Hyung? Even Junnie Hyung, Hao Hyung, Soonie Hyung and Hoonie Hyung are acting suspicious like you. What are you people hiding from us? We want to know what happened with Minnie Hyung. Stop trying to keep us in dark"

Samuel almost screamed out in frustration of being kept hidden from the truth and being kept in the dark.

It was unnerving him as well as the others at how their elder brothers were hiding something from them about their injured brother and treating them as small kids.

They are not kids, even though in the eyes of their Hyung's they were little toddlers. They were grown up men.

"Min lost his memories." Mingyu shut his eyes tightly as soon as the words left his mouth, regretting uttering out the information suddenly without any warning.

He should have thought about approaching in a gentle way to inform the kids about it but his stupid mouth blurted it out without thinking about the complications. Things went exactly the opposite of how he had planned to reveal Seokmin's condition.

"What?"

"What the hell?"

"Are you kidding us?"

Seungkwan, Vernon, Chan and Samuel looked at Mingyu with their mouths hung open in disbelief, not believing a word their elder brother had said. Their Seokmin Hyung lost his memories? He forgot about them? Nope, No fucking way, No Mingyu was pulling an awful prank on them. They are sure about it.

"Hyung, you are pulling a prank on us right? Please stop it. Because it isn't funny"

Mingyu looked at Chan with helpless eyes making it more than obvious that he was not joking around. "I really wish for all of this to turn out to be an awful prank, Channie but unfortunately it isn't. Min doesn't remember the last 12 years of his life. He doesn't remember any of us. He doesn't remember anyone who has visited him, not even Seungcheol Hyung, not me, and not even Joshua and Minji."

A dreadful silence wrapped around them as they let the news sink in. This is not what they expected and surely not what they wanted. Their Seokmin Hyung doesn't remember them.

Chan held onto Samuel, who pulled the crying boy into a hug, trying to calm him. Vernon stood beside Seungkwan both looking utterly lost and helpless.

The kids looked absolutely devastated by the news that Mingyu wanted nothing more than to pull them all in a hug. But before he could proceed Samuel spoke, breaking the uncomfortable silence.
