🪞 MIRA 🪞
"Give me a damn kiss, Mira!" My husband whined and glanced at me with pleading eyes."No," I said, barely hiding my annoyance with my tone as Siddharth stood right in front of the TV, blocking my view of my favorite movie.
"Siddharth move," I groaned, getting irritated.
"Nope," he popped out the p and whined with a voice that held a childish pitch, making me roll my eyes at his antics. "You didn't even give me a morning kiss, Mira!"
I sighed, rubbing my temples. "Stop being ridiculous, Siddharth, and let me watch my movie peacefully."
"Kiss me, or I swear I'll rip this TV off the wall and throw it out the window!" He folded his arms and squinted his eyes as if daring me to challenge him.
In an instant, my attention snapped towards him, and my mouth agape at his admission but his silly threat almost made me laugh.
"Do it. I dare you," I challenged back, crossing my arms over my chest, and leaning back on the couch. "But remember, that would result in no kisses, no hugs, and definitely no touching."
His eyes almost bulged out of his sockets and a gasp left his mouth before he burst out, "You're choosing a movie over me? A movie?!" He tried to sound hurt and clutched his heart like he was about to have a heart attack and took a few steps backward.
I huffed, enjoying his overacting.
Nautanki!
"Yupp," I replied coolly and turned my attention back to the screen. "And just so you know, the baby also wants to watch a movie. So, stop whining and scoot away from my sight." I sassily announced while fanning my hand towards him to dismiss him.
His mouth hung open with a gasp, "Don't drag my innocent baby into this, Mira" He stomped his foot, actually stomped his foot like a kid who didn't get the toy he wanted. "Don't try to gang up with the baby before they have even been born, Mira. This is utter betrayal."
I waved my hand dismissively, eyes still glued to the TV. "Yeah, yeah, whatever. Just go and get us some popcorn."
"You just don't care about me anymore!" he complained while his bottom lip jutted out in a pout, and I had to bite back a smile at how ridiculous he looked.
"Popcorn, Mr. Rajput," I demanded, ignoring his whines.
"Kiss!" he cried.
"Popcorn," I shot back, uninterested.
"Kiss," he repeated, obviously frustrated.
"Popcorn!" I retaliated and matched the level of his stubbornness.
