'' Mum! I'm off to go sell wood around the village!'' The boy carries a bag full of wood.
'' Careful Aadhavan!'' His mother was worried about him.
'' Don't worry! I do this every day! Anyways see you later mum!'' The boy walks off to go sell wood.
'' See you.'' His mother was waving bye to him.
'' Mum, have you seen Aadhavan anywhere?'' The girl tapped her mother on the shoulder.
'' Lalitha, Aadhavan just went right now to go sell wood.'' Her mother responded.
'' Aww me and Saswin wanted to play hide and seek with him!'' Lalitha sighed.
'' You and Saswin can both play with Aadhavan as soon as he comes back, just wait until he comes back after selling all the wood your father had chopped.'' Their mother said.
'' Fine!'' Lalitha stormed off and went back to Saswin.
Their mother goes to the kitchen and began to cook dinner for her family. A while later.
'' Jayantika has Aadhavan and your father come back yet?'' Her mother asked.
'' No mum, its kind of getting late though so I'm kind of worried about them.'' Jayantika replied.
'' Ok then, they probably might come any moment so let's try not to worry too much.'' Her mother tried to stop overthinking.
While Jayantika was helping her mother cook for tonight's dinner, Saswin and Lalitha were worried about their eldest brother and their father not coming; it was very unusual for both of them to be out for a long time. Suddenly they heard someone coming.
'' Guys I'm home!'' Someone yells from outside.
'' Oh! Mayan is finally here.'' The mother stopped chopping the onions and went to go open the door for her husband.
'' Vanuja, did Aadhavan come home yet?' Mayan wondered.
'' No he has not, the kids and I were worried about the both of you since it was getting late.'' Jayantika answered.
'' I went a bit earlier before he went so I haven't seen him all day, I wonder where he went.'' Mayan got a bit concerned.
'' Mum! Dad! Did Aadhavan arrive yet?'' Jayantika was impatient.
'' Not yet.'' Vanuja turned to Jayantika.
'' He'll probably come back when we all sleep, he did that once.'' Jayantika said.
'' You're probably right.'' Mayan agreed.
'' Come on you two, come inside we all 5 can eat.'' Vanuja demanded.
They all ate their dinner and kids went to sleep except for Vanuja and Mayan.
'' Can't believe we're going to have a fifth baby on the way.'' Mayan says.
'' I'm around 6 months pregnant, you know/'' Vanuja said.
'' Already 6 months...'' Mayan was surprised.
'' Aadhavan hasn't come back home yet, shouldn't we be worried and do something?'' Vanuja begins to worry.
'' Now that you said it, it kind of concerning where he is, I know it's late at night but I'm still going out to go find him, If I can't find him I'll go ask the neighbours.'' Mayan began to get impatient of waiting for Aadhavan.
'' Ok then, be careful, I'll stay here to look after the kids.'' Vanuja worries.
'' I will, see you.'' Mayan waves bye and walks off to find his son.
'' Good luck.'' Vanuja tells him.
Vanuja prays for her son to come back and then goes to bed. The next day Mayan comes backs home and tells the breaking news to the family.
'' Vanuja! Kids! I have some bad news!'' Mayan yells.
'Everyone meets at the same room and was ready to listen to the bad news.
'' Where is Aadhavan?! That's my question!'' Lalitha realises.
'' Well about that... He went missing last night, the whole village and me tried to find him and he was not seen anywhere; so we decided to call the police and now they're investigating on where he is.'' Mayan exclaimed.
