THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW

With arms wrapped tightly around her knees, Laura stares at the blue wall of the hospital in front of her. She can hear people talking in hushed voice all around the waiting room, probably talking about their loved ones admitted at the hospital. Laura on the other hand is just content that she was able to bring Harry to the hospital.

She's upset that the doctors aren't telling her anything. They just took Harry's unconscious body away, without paying much attention to her questions related to his health.

Millions of thoughts run through her mind. Every single one of them related to Harry. She remembers how much she hated him and wanted nothing more than to see him dead but now it's changed. Laura doesn't want him to die, she wants him to live. There's so much he needs to know, he's living in the dark and Laura doesn't want him to die in the dark too.

She wants to tell him about his sorry ass brother and his coward lover.

"Hey, you need something to drink?" Slowly, her gaze flickers from the wall towards the source of the voice.

Zayn stands there, looking down at her with a small frown on his face.

"Water or coffee, anything?" He asks again when he gets no reply from her. Eyebrows raised as he hopefully wait for her to reply.

Normally, Zayn wouldn't really bother to see if anyone needed anything, but seeing Laura sitting there without occurring a single word ever since he made her sit in the waiting room is worrying Zayn a little bit. He's not as heartless as he poses to be after all.

"Water will be fine." She says quietly and Zayn nods, walking away to grab a bottle of water for the girl.

In the past hour, Laura has realized that Zayn isn't really so bad. She remembers calling him and crying over the phone. Zayn had immediately told him that he's on his way, no more questions asked. He didn't insult her like the last time when she had called him.

"Here." She hears Zayn's voice and she looks up to see him holding a bottle of water.

Without uttering another word, Laura takes the bottle from his hand and hungrily downs the cold liquid before letting out a small sigh and putting back the lid on it.

"He'll be okay. He's tough." Zayn says from the seat beside her, placing his hand on her knee and squeezing it gently, in a soothing manner.

"You think?" She asks him quietly, looking at him with hopeful eyes and Zayn gives her a tight smile.

"I know that for sure, hon." Zayn tells her though she can sense the hesitancy in his voice.

Zayn was there right beside her when the doctors had said that it might be something very serious and judging from how long it has been since they took Harry inside a room, it's possible that it really is something serious.

Laura feels the tears forming in her eyes again and and hates it. She doesn't want to cry anymore. Doesn't want to give the God any satisfaction that He must get from seeing her so upset.  She feels like that's all God really wants. To make her cry and she hates Him for it.

You're not going to win, I won't cry again. She thinks, taking in a deep breath and closing her eyes to stop the tears from flowing.

"It's.. it's because of the medicines he's been taking." She says, eyes again fixed on the wall in front of her but she knows that Zayn's listening.

"What?" Zayn asks, not really understanding what she's trying to say.

"The medicines. The pills he was taking for stress and stuff. They weren't right for him, they just made him worse." She explaining, her bottom lip quivering as she tries to hold back her tears.
