Kerrie
12/12
"No, the answer is C!" Isha says"There is no way, it has to be D!" Ara says. I am listening to these idiots arguing about the Potions homework. Granted, I don't know the answer either. Lucius is rereading the article, and Lovel is sitting behind me not saying anything.
"Guys could you keep it down?" Lovel said, looking up from his homework he was doing.
"Oh hush up,"I say and hit his knee. He gave me a death stare but returned to his assignment.
"Actually the correct answer is B." Lucius finally spoke up, Isha and Ara both looked at him in shock.
"How is it B?" Ara asks and looks over the paper again. Meanwhile, Isha, Lovel and I just mark the box. Because we have been working on this paper for hours. Since last night everyone is ready to be done with this.
"The question was about a potion for heart palpitations and B is the best match. A would be too strong. C would be too weak. D isn't even what the question asked." Lucius answered calmly. A look of defeat washed over Ara as his hand moved the pen to B.
"At least someone here is smart" I say and move from the floor to the couch next to Lovel.
"Shut up Kerrie." Ara said, scowling at me.
"Ara, don't be such a dick." I say and lean back against Lovel.
"I don't have to listen to you. I don't know why we even hang out." He said, turning away. I roll my eyes.
"Because nobody else wants your sorry arse." Ara turns around to face me.
"What did you say?"
"You heard me." I responded with a sneer.
"Oh yeah then why do you hang out with me at all?" he says, returning the same energy he was given.
"Because you are always around. Following your cousin like a dog." When I said 'cousin' I pointed at Lucius. Lucius and Ara's mums are sisters.
"Oh yeah and what about you? Following Lovel around like a lost puppy all day? Always hanging out with him?" He said, crossing his arms as he moved closer to me.
"I do not follow him around, if you actually opened your eyes for once in your life. You would notice that Lovel follows me around." I look over at Lovel and he doesn't say anything, he knows that it's true.
"Whatever you say," Ara says, not believing a word and rolling his eyes. "Lovel follows you? What world are you living in? He'd rather sit all by himself than bother to be around you."
"Yeah?" I say sarcastically. "Maybe go get a girlfriend and see how much you follow her around after that." I don't even remember getting off the couch, but now I am standing very close to Ara.
"At least I could get a girlfriend. What about you? Who'd want to be in a relationship with you?" he says as he backs away slightly. "Go do some more potions homework you ugly whore! At least be good at something in your life other than being a whore!" I reach up and punch him in the face.
"Fuck you Ara." He falls back onto the floor, a shocked expression on his face. He quickly tries to cover the bruise with one hand.
"You didn't just do that." He says, glaring up at me.
"I clearly did." He wipes the blood from his nose and looks at me, and I can see the rage in his eyes.
"You're such a slut, do you know that? Just going around with any guy who shows any interest in you."
