The next morning, Sam, Dean, and I left the motel we were staying at and headed for Black Water Ridge.
We talked to the only camping survivor known to these 'grizzly attacks.' He was nervous to tell us, it was like he didn't want to tell us what actually happened that day.
He told us that this 'grizzly' broke into the cabin, but he didn't smash the windows or doors. It unlocked the door. He said that he didn't wake up until he heard his parents screaming. That it dragged them out of bed and into the night.
He didn't know why it left him alive, but it left him with a massive scar on his collar bone.
However, we still don't know what we're up against.
Which..kind of scares me a bit, not gonna lie.
Dean soon pulled the Impala up into the dirt road, right where the hiking trail starts. As soon as we pulled up, we saw Hayley, her younger brother, and the guy she had hired to go with her.
Once Dean parked the car, my brothers and I climbed out. I saw her hands placed on her hips, as she smirked.
Dean threw his hands up in the air, "You guys got room for four more?"
Hayley raised her brows, "Wait, you guys actually want to come with us?"
The three of us nodded, as I furrowed my brows, "That's why we're here, right?" I asked, a slight smirk forming onto my face.
Sam threw the duffle bag over his shoulder, and the three of us walked closer to them. The man furrowed his eyebrows, as his eyes glanced between my brothers and I, "Who are these guys?"
Hayley looks over at him, "Apparently, this is all the park service could muster up." She smirks, as she looks back over at us.
A confused look came over the man's face, "You four are rangers?"
Dean nodded, "That's right."
The older man scoffed quietly at what he said. Hayley looked Dean up and down, "So, you're hiking in biker boots and jeans?"
He looked down at his clothes, then backed up at her, "Oh sweetheart, I don't do shorts." He smirks, walking past her.
Millie scoffed quietly, as she playfully rolls her eyes.
Hayley's eyes shifted over to mine and Sam's direction. She saw what I was wearing as well, "You know you'll trip in those Jncos out there."
I looked down at the pair of jeans I was wearing, before looking back up at her, "I've walked in worse in these. My Jnco's never let me down." I smirked, as I walked past her.
She rolled her eyes in response. Sam and I started to follow after Dean.
The man scoffs, his gaze turned to us, "Oh, you think this is funny? It's dangerous out there. Her brother might be hurt." He exclaims, an annoyed look on his face.
Dean looks back at him, "Believe me, I know how dangerous it can be. We just wanna help her find her brother, that's all." After he said that, all the man did was roll his eyes.
We then turned towards the woods, and began to hike towards Tommy's campsite.
Sam and I were in the back, while Dean was up front with the man, Hayley, and Ben. He was talking to the older man, while the rest of us stayed kind of quiet.
Sam's gaze shifted over to me, "Has Elena messaged you today?"
I shook my head, "No, not yet. I turned my phone off as soon as we pulled up into Black Water Ridge. I wasn't going to get much cell reception anyways, so I didn't think I needed it."
