Sheriff Forbes and Officer Devins

Sheriff Forbes and her partner, Sheriff Devins, walked us into the office. They were leading us to their office. A bit of a confused look was on her face, "Tell me again, why do the wildlife services care about an accidental drowning?" She asks, pushing open the door to her office.

Sam led us into the room, as I took a breath, "We think that there's something else to it."

She cocked her brows, as she looked over at me, "Don't I know you from somewhere?"

I didn't say anything, I just stared at her.

A curious look came over her, "I feel like I've seen you around here before." She says, smiling lightly, as she shook her head a bit.

A bit of a nervous look came over me, "I guess I have a familiar face." I stated, scoffing quietly. She nodded, "I guess you do."

Sam then takes a breath, "Are you sure it was accidental? I mean, Will Carlton said he saw something drag his sister under the water." He states, a bit of a curious look coming over him.

A confused look came over her and Devins, "Like what?" They gestured to us to sit down, "There's no carnivores in that lake. There's nothing big enough to pull a person down, unless it was the Loch Ness Monster."

My brothers and I took a seat. A light smirk came over Dean, "Oh, yeah, right." He says, forcing a small smile.

Officer Devins steps up, "Will Carlton is just traumatized, and thinks that he saw something drag his sister under." He says, "We just went through the entire lake, and we found nothing."

Dean nods, "I know, but that's weird though." He says, leaning forward. His green eyes glanced between him and Sheriff Forbes, "That's the third missing body this year in that lake."

Sheriff Forbes started to lean back in her seat, "Well, all of this won't be a problem much longer."

Dean furrowed his brows, "What do you mean?"

"Well, it's the dam, or course." Sheriff Forbes states, as Sheriff Devins, nods, raising his brows. Dean quickly nodded, "Right, the dam." He looks over at Sam and I, "It's..sprung a leak."

She shakes her head, "It's okay if you weren't aware of the leak. It's not really public knowledge. We don't want people to panic."

My brothers and I nodded.

There was then a knock at the door, "I'm sorry," The five of us looked over to see a young woman walking through the door, "Am I interrupting something?" She asks, a bit of a cringe look coming over her.

A light smile came over Sheriff Forbes, "Hello, Andrea."

The woman looks to her, "Hello, Sheriff Forbes." Her smile slowly began to drop, "Is this a bad time? Do you want me to come back later?"

Dean, Sam, and I stood to our feet.

A light smile came over Devins, "Gentlemen," His eyes shifted to me, "Miss," He looked to the young woman, "This is my daughter."

Dean took her hand, "It's a pleasure to meet you." He says, smirking lightly, "I'm Dean."

She takes it, "Andrea Barr." She nods.

"They're from the wildlife services." Devins tells her, putting his hands on his hips.

She looks at him and nods. A couple seconds later, a little boy came walking into the room. A sad look was on his face, as his eyes stayed on the floor below him.

A light smile came over Dean, "Oh, hey. What's your name?"

The boy then turned around and walked out of the room. Andrea's eyes shifted to us, "I'm sorry, guys." She mumbled, before following after him.
