Stefan's P.O.V

I had just gotten off the phone with Elena. She asked to see how everything was, and if the preacher had healed Dean from his heart problems. Of course, I told her yes, and that everything was fine. I also told her that I met Emma's older sister.

I told her that we'd be staying a day or two longer, that Dean wanted to make sure that there was nothing going on behind Roy's powers. To make sure everything is just innocent.

My nephew, Zach, had also called and told me that Damon was still locked up in the basement. That he was just lying on the floor starving. So, nothing bad has happened yet, which is good. I hope it stays that way.

Dean and I sat in the living room of Roy and Sue Ann's home. A forced smile was on the Hunter's face, "Yeah, I feel great!" He exclaims. Sue Ann smiled at us, as she was pouring us some tea to drink. Dean put his hands together in his lap in front of him, "I'm just trying to make sense of what happened." He states, furrowing his brows a bit.

Sue Ann's eyes shifted over to Dean, "Miracles can happen." She smiles, nodding. Her gaze turned to her husband, "Miracles always seem to happen around Roy."

I nodded, as a light smile started to form onto my face, "Well, if you're like Dean and I..it's kind of hard for a miracle like this to happen around us."

Dean looked over at me, and nodded, "Stefan's right." He looks back to Roy, and begins to furrow his brows, "How did you get this ability to heal people anyways, if I'm allowed to ask."

Roy then takes a breath, "One day, I woke up and I was stone cold blind. The doctors figured out that I had cancer. So, we prayed for a miracle. I was weak, but I told Sue Ann to keep on praying. I went into a coma, and the doctors said I wouldn't wake up..but I did. When I did, the cancer was gone." He then took off his glasses, and hooked them onto his shirt, "If it weren't for these eyes, no one would believe I'd ever had it."

Dean and I gave a light nod, "I'm so sorry about that." I stated, leaning forward in my seat.

A smile was pushed onto Roy's face, "Don't worry about it, son." He says, waving me off.

A light smile formed onto my face, as Dean took a breath, "Then, you realized that you could heal people?"

Roy nodded a bit, "I discovered it afterwards, yes. God has blessed me in many ways." He says, smiling a bit as he puts his glasses back on.

Sue Ann's gaze was down at her husband, "His flock just swelled in overnight." She looks to Dean and I, "This is just the beginning."

Dean and I nodded. His green eyes shifted to Roy, "Can I ask you one last question?"

Roy nods, "Of course you can, son."

"Why me?" Dean asks, furrowing his brows, "Out of all of those sick people in that church. Why did you save me?"

Roy's smile never fell, "Well, like I said before, Dean. The Lord guides me. I looked into your heart, and you just stood out from all of the rest."

A bit of a curious look came over Dean, "What did you see in my heart?"

"I saw a young man with an important purpose." Roy states, "A man who has a job to do, and it isn't finished yet."

I raised my brows a bit, as I looked over at Dean. He then gave a light nod, "Thank you for your time, sir."

"Sure thing, son." Roy replied, nodding a bit.

Dean and I both stood up. I stuck my hand out and lightly shook Roy's hand, "Thank you." I stated, forcing a bit of a smile onto my face.
