*reminder* this story will include snippets from season four most of the timeline for things will be different for the sake of the story.
being so this chapter will include most scenes from season five episode one. Except the scenes regarding Rosalind as that would mess the time line up a little as this story takes place in season five when this has all already happened.
LAYLA SIGHED AS SHE WAS HANDED A CUP WITH HER AND TIMS FACES ON IT. "Thought you could use some coffee." Celina spoke softly before chuckling.
Layla rolled her eyes. "I hate you."
"Oh, come on! This is gold." Celina exclaimed nudging her slightly.
Lucy passed by three t-shirts in hand with a T-shirt on. "Layla! I got you a gift." Layla sighed shaking her head.
"This should be in your size."
"Lucy. I can't believe you did this."
"Nothing against you Layla. I had to get payback. Tim had these made when I was a rookie." She held out a shirt with her face on it as she had clearly been caught off guard.
"That's." The two girls paused shaking their head. "That's brutal."
"I know." Lucy spoke shaking her head at the memory.
"Oh! I think Grey is looking for you." Lucy spoke to Layla.
Laylas nodded before she grabbed the shirt. Walking to Greys office.
"Sir?" She spoke knocking the door before coming in. "Lucy said you need me."
"I do." Grey paused. Layla looked to Tim. "We don't know when you guys will be receiving the call. So I've decided that you and Bradford will be riding together."
"I know you can handle it Hicks. I just wanted to see if you're ready to go undercover? Anything can happen, going under. You're still a rookie so you really need to be careful. We don't normally allow rookies to go in and go UC at this stage but under these circumstances we don't really have a choice."
"I understand sir." Layla tried to hide the smile that began approaching on her face.
"This could lead to a lot of opportunities for you. So good luck. Both of you." Grey said looking to the two of them.
