-chapter twenty seven-

LAYLA RESTED HER CHIN ON TIM'S BACK AS HE MADE BREAKFAST.

"Smells good." She commented placing a kiss to his back.

He turned around placing a kiss to her forehead. "It does, doesn't it?" Layla rolled her eyes as he wrapped his arms around her.

Before he leaned down placing a kiss to her lips.

"Please get a room you two." Celina spoke as she entered the kitchen.

Layla blushed as she pulled away from him. "Celina, you're up." While Tim said. "You're still here." Leading Layla to slap his chest.

"Yes sorry, but I promise I'll be out of your hair today, seriously thank you guys for letting me crash here while my apartment gets fixed up. They said all the repairs should be done today."

Layla smiled at her friend. "Great and don't worry we love having you here."

He looked down at Layla muttering to her. "We do?"

Layla gave him a glare before Tim shook his head before turning back to the stove. "You want one?" He spoke offering her a pancake.

Celina looked to him a smile growing on her face. "Two would be perfect."

A knock then sounded at the door leading Tim to groan before he turned back around to face Layla. "I forgot to tell you, Isabel texted me a few days ago, she said she wanted to talk so I invited her over." Laylas expression mixed from confusion to shock to a sort of is this really happening before she gave him a fake smile.

"Isabel as in your ex wife?" She asked lowly. Tim nodded. Layla paused looking to Celina. "Yeah that's totally fine." She let out, not wanting Celina to witness any possible argument.

Tim sighed softly before placing a kiss on top of her head. "Sorry for not telling you earlier I just completely forgot."

Completely forgot that your ex wife texted you? Layla thought to herself.

"Well then, let's not keep her waiting at the door." Celina said before noticing the slight glare on Laylas face. She scratched her neck awkwardly gulping. "I'll get the door."
