'Oh my god, finally my shift ended! I'm so glad it ended early or I would've missed the game!'

Flora thought to herself, she sold the last bouquet she had to sell before her shift ended which she sighed in relief after doing that. She quickly grabbed her bags and rushed outside. She got inside the car and drove to the game as fast as she could just in case she missed it.

...Thirty minutes later...

She gets out of the car, closing the door behind her before she grabs the paper she kept in the car saying 'Hockey puck for a friendship bracelet! :>'.

She quickly runs to the stadium, looking around to find her seat in the crowd of people.

'Thank goodness I didn't miss it.. gosh, there's so many people here.'

Flora finally finds her seat, she notices that the game hasn't started yet and most of the people sitting beside or her section haven't came here yet so she quickly rushes to the glass that separates the players and the audience.

She grabbed her paper and held it against the glass waiting for a hockey player to come up. Her friendship bracelet was in her head ready to throw it if anyone came up, she wasn't expecting anyone to see her nor come up to her to say the least but she still hoped someone would still notice her.

A few minutes later, a girl with light brunette hair came skating towards her, Flora excitedly nodded as the girl looked at her before throwing it over the glass. Flora stepped and leaned back a bit before lifting her hand up to catch the hockey puck. She caught it and looked up as she threw her friendship bracelet to the girl hockey player. The hockey player caught the bracelet before she started skating away as they both waved goodbye to each other leaving a smile on Flora's face.

Soon, the game was about to start. Flora notices the girl who gave her the hockey puck playing on the ice. A few minutes later the girl scores one point as the crowd cheers.

"AND NUMBER TWENTY ONE SCORES GIVING A POINT TO THE WHITE TEAM!"

The announcer says.

'Twenty one huh, that's my lucky number. I hope the white team wins, that girl was really nice to me and I think she deserves it.'

...After the game...

'I can't believe the white team won! The black team was so good I didn't think they had a chance. I'm so glad they did win though!'

Flora thought to herself as she skipped happily with the hockey puck in her hand before bumping into someone.

CRASH

"Oh my god I am SO SO SO SO SO SORRY!!! I-"

"No no, I'm sorry."

The girl picked up the hockey puck Flora dropped and gave it back to her. Flora then realized it's the same hockey player that she traded with before the game started.

"It's you again, the one who gave me the hockey puck right?"

"Ah! I knew you looked familiar, yea it's me."

"Congratulations on winning that game! It was great! You played great!"

"Thank you- uh.. what's your name?"

"Oh right! My name is Flora."

"Flora, that's a pretty name. Mine is Lucifer but most people call me Luci."

"Like the devil?"

Flora said, her eyes gleaming with a hint of curiosity and amusement from her name. Lucifer paused before answering.

"Exactly like the devil."

"Isn't that name banned from a few countries?"

"Yea."

"But.. Why Lucifer?"

Lucifer paused, she didn't like talking about why her name is Lucifer. And Flora noticed her discomfort.

"You don't have to answer if you don't want to! I mean- we just met and I don't want to pressure you into telling me something that you don't want to and-

Flora quickly said to avoid pressuring her.

"No, it's fine. It's not big of a deal anyways, but the story is very long, is that okay?"

Lucifer replied, cutting her off of her rushing sentences.

"Sure! I don't mind!"

Both of them walke to a bench staying silent the whole way, then they sat down on the bench. Flora stayed quiet waiting for Lucifer to speak as she didn't want to pressure her.

She was actually pretty excited to hear a stranger's life story since she never really had many friends nor people that shared or even chatted with her.

"All my family members are all currently in China except- well, my parents. My mother and father met in Egypt at a club, both of them were drunk at the time and were only unresponsible 16 year old teenagers. My mother got pregnant and abortion wasn't allowed in Egypt. My grandma and grandpa got really mad so they kicked her out of the house. My mother went to find my father for help and my father refused to take responsibility.

Flora felt really bad for Lucifer since she could pretty much guess what the next part is and she doesn't like it. Her expression softened, listening carefully to Lucifer as she continued with her story.

She went to an orphanage and got bullied there and at school for being pregnant at 16. But don't be fooled by the story that she's just a broken person alright, she was always a spoiled brat since elementary school and was mean to everyone. After I was born she thought of me as a disgrace so she named me Lucifer. She had to raise me because she still had contact with my grandparents and they said it's not my fault and she had to raise me or else.. she kinda-"

Lucifer's voice cracked as she choked back a bit on her own tears. Flora immediately wanted to hug her but she had to respect whatever boundaries the other had.

"Are you okay? You don't have to continue."

"It's fine.. I um- I'm sorry.. that you had to see me crying, it's not even been an hour since we literally met and-"

"Don't apologize. It's my fault for bringing it up anyways.. Is it okay for me to touch you?"

"Yeah sure.."

Lucifer said, glancing down at the ground. Flora touched her cheek gently wiping her tears away, Lucifer looked back up at her for a few seconds before Flora realized what she's doing and pulled away from Lucifer's cheek.

"Um- do you wanna come with me? We can get some ice cream to get to know each other, it's my treat since my question might've been too personal.

"Yea sure."

Both got up and started walking to the ice cream truck and no doubt that there was some awkwardness between them from what Flora did earlier but both stayed quiet as they continued to ignore it and hope they can forget what she did. Obviously that's not true but they eventually made it to the ice cream truck in awkward silence.
