As the preparations for Arjun and Subhadra's wedding began, both families were filled with joy and anticipation. The palace buzzed with excitement, and plans were made for a grand celebration that would unite the Pandavas and the Yadavas in a bond of love and kinship.

One afternoon, as the final details were being discussed, a messenger arrived at the palace gates with an important announcement. "King Drupad and Princess Draupadi have arrived to visit Hastinapura," he declared.

The news spread quickly, and soon, everyone was gathered in the main hall to welcome their esteemed guests. King Drupad, a tall and imposing figure, entered with his daughter, Draupadi, by his side. Draupadi, known for her beauty and grace, looked around the hall with curiosity and a touch of nervousness.

"Welcome, King Drupad, and Princess Draupadi," Yudhishthira greeted them warmly. "It is an honor to have you here in Hastinapura."

King Drupad nodded, his eyes scanning the room. "Thank you, Yudhishthira. We are pleased to be here. I have heard much about the valor of the Pandavas and the beauty of Hastinapura."

As they exchanged pleasantries, Draupadi's gaze fell upon Arjun and Subhadra, who were standing close together, their eyes occasionally meeting in secret glances. A flicker of doubt crossed her mind as she observed their closeness, wondering if there was something more between them.

"Ah, Arjun," King Drupad said, his voice holding a hint of curiosity. "It is good to see you again. And who is this lovely lady beside you?"

Arjun, maintaining his composure, responded, "This is Princess Subhadra, King Drupad. She is visiting Hastinapura as a guest."

Draupadi's eyes narrowed slightly as she watched the interaction. She noticed the subtle way Arjun and Subhadra exchanged glances, and her suspicion grew. She sensed there was more to their relationship than they were letting on.

As the wedding preparations for Arjun and Subhadra continued in Hastinapura, tensions simmered beneath the surface, particularly with the arrival of King Drupad and Princess Draupadi. Draupadi, observant and sharp-eyed, had noticed the intimate moments shared between Arjun and Subhadra, hidden from plain sight but not from her watchful gaze. Her suspicions grew into certainty, feeding her growing anger and resentment.

One afternoon, as she wandered through the palace corridors, Draupadi caught a glimpse of Arjun and Subhadra together in a secluded garden alcove. They stood close, their voices low and intimate. Draupadi's heart sank as she realized the depth of their bond. She had hoped against hope that Arjun's heart might turn towards her, but seeing him with Subhadra shattered that illusion.

Fueled by jealousy and wounded pride, Draupadi stormed to her father, King Drupad's chambers. "Father," she exclaimed, her voice filled with fury, "I have seen enough! Arjun and Subhadra are more than just friends. They are in love!"

King Drupad, taken aback by Draupadi's outburst, frowned deeply. "Are you certain, Draupadi? This complicates our plans."

Draupadi nodded vehemently, her eyes flashing with anger. "Yes, Father! I have seen them together, sharing moments that only lovers would share. Arjun has betrayed us!"

King Drupad sighed heavily, his mind racing with thoughts of his daughter's future and the alliance he had hoped to secure with Arjun. "We must confront Arjun and demand an explanation. This cannot go unaddressed."

That evening, during a gathering of both families in the main hall, King Drupad seized the opportunity to address the issue. His voice carried authority as he spoke to the assembled guests.

"My esteemed guests," King Drupad began, his voice carrying authority, "there is a matter of great importance that must be addressed. It concerns the alliance between our kingdoms and the future of Princess Draupadi."
