Chapter 10: Palmiers

A significant portion of food was left behind on the breakfast plate. The eyes were red due to lack of sleep. There was a layer of uneasiness all over his face. The person always lecturing about not to waste food to his younger twin brother was himself leaving the table without finishing his own food.

"Woo, are you not well, baby?" Mrs. Jeon asked being worried. Eun-woo wasn't himself today.
"I'm fine, mom. Just feeling a bit tired." He swallowed the chewed food in his mouth and left the table. Jungkook followed him to their shared room shortly.

"What's wrong with you?"

With that one question, the boy broke down in tears. He hid his face by pressing a pillow against it. Jungkook rushed to his brother pulling him in a hug.

"You are scaring me now, Woo. Please tell me what's wrong." The younger kept asking him while patting his back but sobbing of the boy continued followed by hiccups. Jungkook broke the hug and brought water for him. After having a sip, Eun-woo finally opened his mouth.

"I had my first kiss, Kookie."

He said rubbing off the tears. Jungkook sighed deeply making the widest smile on his face out of excitement. "Oh god, Woo! You literally scared me, man! It's your first kiss! It's something really sweet, Woo. You should be happy and celebrate it with me, Jim and Tae. Tell me who that is?"

Jungkook was genuinely happy and overexcited for his brother. Eun-woo's character never expressed his romantic side, so the younger got more excitement running through his veins.

"I am happy but what if mom and dad find out? What if they disown me?" Jungkook chuckled at his brother's cutely panicked face and pinched his cheeks saying, "You silly! This will be little secret among us but it's just kiss, don't act like you have had sex already!"

"Kookie!" Eun-woo slapped his brother's arms whining with embarrassment. The later almost rolled out of bed while laughing.
"If you don't tell me who it is, then I will tell them." Jungkook kept running across the room being chased by the elder. He had that continuous evil smirk on his lips.

"Fine! But I am too shy to tell this to Jim and Tae. You have to do that for me." The boy was blushing too hard to not be teased by his younger twin. "I promise! I would tell Jim and Tae myself and also request them not to tease you. Happy?"

Eun-woo nodded giddily and sat down on the edge of his bed. He patted the seat next to him and Jungkook took it. He leaned to his brother's ear and raised his hand to keep the whispering sound bound within that limit.

"It's Hoseok. Jung Hoseok."

Jungkook is 17 now. He was 14 when he watched a romantic movie and learnt about the concept of love. Ever since, Jung Hoseok is the only name he can think of explaining what love is to him. So much of hard work, so many stupid attempts to make that dreamy Jung Hoseok happy. Yesterday he praised highly of Jungkook's gift that he prepared with so much of thoughts into it. And now, he got the brand new information of the same Hoseok being with his own twin brother, Eun-woo.

"Do you love him, Woo?" He asked with a stunned yet composed expression.
"I do, Kookie. I love him too much. He has asked me out two months back but I didn't have the courage to say yes. Yesterday when I went to his birthday party, he-"

"You were at the party yesterday?" He asked in a shaking tone that fortunately went unobserved by his brother.

"I was, Kookie. I knew you and Jimin would be there but I was too nervous to tell you guys. When you guys arrived, I saw you both from afar but wasn't sure how to explain if you were suspicious. I am so sorry, Kookie. I know I should have shared everything with you but I was so unsure of everything. I never imagined Hoseok is such an amazing person. He waited for me so long. His confession was too pure last night. I had to accept as I feel the same way too."
